Project Update: Payment and Survery tech issues
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate a few technical hiccups with the survey phase. I wanted to reach out personally and let you know that I am fully aware of the issues some of you are seeing regarding payment status and pricing.
Here is the current situation:
- Payment Status: Although BackerKit may show some initial payments as "failed," I have confirmed that all cards were successfully processed when the campaign ended. This appears to be a syncing error on the platform's end.
- Pricing: There is currently a discrepancy with pricing being changed for add-ons to an incorrect price.
I am already working directly with my assigned BackerKit support lead to correct these errors.
Please feel free to hold off on submitting your survey for now. I will extend the timeline, if needed, for final charges to ensure everything is 100% accurate before any further transactions take place. No one will be double-charged or overcharged.
I am hopeful to have this resolved by the end of today and will post a formal update as soon as the "all clear" is given. Thank you for sticking with me—we’ll have this smoothed out in no time!
