Exciting news regarding our favorite unfortunate skeleton and the rest of the collection. The raw pins are emerging, and look great! The team will begin the plating process to give them their final metal finishes, followed by the best part: the glitter and paint.
It is always a challenge to convey the depth, sparkle, and features of an enamel pin through a digital drawing, but soon these are going to be absolutely stunning in person. Thank you all for "seeing the vision" during the design phase.
The Desert Storm Pin
I’ve made a few executive decisions to ensure the Desert Storm pin is as high-quality as possible:
No More Screen Print Plant: I originally considered screen printing for certain details, but I realized that having a section that wasn't stained glass (like the rest of the pin) would detract from the cohesive look.
Size Bump: To make sure that entire blue area can feature the stained glass effect, we’ve increased the overall size of the pin!
Succulent Tweaks: I’ve slightly adjusted the size of the succulents to provide better structural stability for the pin, ensuring it’s as durable as it is beautiful.

Our favorite little skeleton, Mr. Skelly-Bones, has officially come to life in the production phase, and in true Skelly-Bones fashion, he’s already stumbled into a bit of a calamity! While reviewing the physical structural needs of the Desert Storm design, we discovered that the tiny negative space to the left of the glass is just a bit too small to be cut out without making the pin fragile. We want to make sure your pins are sturdy enough to survive all of life's little accidents, so we’re pivoting with a decorative touch!
The "Stay-in-Class" Solution
Instead of a cutout, that small area is getting a glow-up:
More Greenery: We are filling that space with additional lush, leafy details to keep the terrarium looking full and vibrant.
Cohesive Coloring: This section will be filled with a smooth enamel paint that perfectly matches the "negative space" color used between Mr. Skelly-Bones’ bones, but will not be translucent.
The result? A pin that looks even more detailed, stays structurally sound, and keeps the whimsical spirit of the original design intact. Here is the small tweak in the design! Thank you all for being such an amazing part of this journey. Mr. Skelly-Bones may be a magnet for trouble, but he's going to look fantastic when he arrives at your door!

Timeline & Shipping
My production team is incredibly fast and efficient. If everything continues to run smoothly without any unexpected delays, we are currently on track to begin shipping these out to you towards the end of May.
