I have gotten back some of the art work that your pledges helped us create and am so excited to share a piece with you.
This one is named The Connection from an artist in France, Anais who has taken on three pieces for the deck!
Traditionally, in tarot this is The Lovers card however, I wanted to represent a different perspective that focused more on the love that you have for yourself, your friends, your community. The connection that is built can be for a moment, a season, or a lifetime but, all are important. Tarot, games, and cacao is something that people can really connect over and I can't wait for you to be able to experience it with you circle.
This piece has me truly reflecting on all the connections I have made while on this journey of creating this deck and game. From the artists, other designers, and of course the people like you who are supporting this early on I truly am grateful.
And as we prepare for Gen Con in just a few weeks I am so excited to connect with anyone who maybe attending this convention. Please stop by booth 2937 and say hi! There will also be some fun things I will announce soon!
There is a sense of relief when you finish a long hike, then you begin to look back on the journey just as I am right now.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported the project and myself over the past 22 days and before that! Beyond grateful we exceeded our goal! So excited about the art that will be coming soon. Even more eager to be able to send these off to you all to experience!

The Visionary: This all started with the idea of a working scale! Being apart of Tarotopia helped to bring this vision to life. This tier includes The Gamer edition with the deluxe components of

The Seeker: Looking to be one of the first to have a reading with the creator? This tier is only offered on Backerkit! Annie is a tarot reader who does tea and tarot events out in Hawaii. Normally, does not offer virtual readings but, wanted the chance to connect to more people who maybe in various timezone around the world. Some of the most powerful readings she has received have been virtual and is grateful for the ability to connect to the cards and the person to offer guidance and support.
Just a few hours left! We are so grateful we have already reached our goal, now we are looking forward to having more people join the journey! If you know someone who loves games, or tarot, but especially both now is the time to send this over to them!

Hi there, wanted to take a minute to share with all of you supporting this journey a little behind the scenes!
My favorite email's to receive are from my artists and to see the process of a piece. So I am here to share with you a work in progress!
This piece is named, The Commander: In traditional Raider-Waite tarot this is the Queen of Wands. This cards symbolizes passion, resilience, and courage. For The Traveler's tarot this card represents the strength and energy it requires to achieve something great and the amount of effort and dedication to overcome any challenge. This card is inspired by a marathon runner named Louise Butcher who had survived breast cancer, had a double mastectomy, and now she runs topless to raise breast cancer and mastectomy awareness. This card is with the collaboration of the talented Amanda Phelps. Once this card is fully illustrated it will be available as a print with all proceeds being donated to breast cancer.
Deciding to crowdfund and self publish came from wanting to personally art direct this project and bring the vision I had for it to life. As well as have a platform for artists involved to create meaningful work and have the ability to give back to community or causes that are important. I am so eager to share more upcoming artwork! (Currently 7 pieces in development) so be on the lookout for more soon!
We maybe nearing the end of this campaign, just 3 days left! But, this card is a reminder of the exciting journey ahead to see this project finished and off to you all!

We wanted to take this time to introduce our brand new publishing company Unphazed Games. This initiative will be taking over the Backerkit crowdfunding account as the Knight Moves family grows! We will be at Gencon later this year to continue our publishing adventure.
Annie, Devon, and Caleb are long time friends who met through the community at Knight Moves. They came together in 2024 with the mission to design and publish high quality games that would bring people closer together.
