Soul Food is a darkly humorous adventure for Mausritter. Brave mice will explore a sprawling countryside kitchen and meet its myriad vermin denizens.
So... what's good here? Soul Food is a complete kitchen-crawl for Mausritter, that you can play on its own or slot into an ongoing campaign. It comprises of 19 kitchens locations, four of which are full-fledged mini adventures on their own. The final product will be a 20-page long, A5 two-colour zine, lovingly laid out and illustrated by moi (see Meet the Kitchen Staff).
The kitchen is also crawling with all manner of creepy/cute pests, all rushing to have their fill before dawn breaks. That's over 15 NPCs and critters for your mice to interact with, from a gourmand snail, to a compliment-fishing crow, to a no-nonsense mini-chef, to a rat artiste. A ratiste, if you will. And many others!
Will they solve the mystery behing the disappearing mice of Lá-Bas? Will they help Villa Mignon with its ant problem? Or will they fall prey to Céline the stoat's voracious appetites?
