PDF and digital files for A Familiar Tower have been sent to all backers. The email will be from DriveThruRPG. Check your spam folder if you haven't received it yet. Let me know if there's an issue and I'll get you sorted.
Print proofs incoming
The printer estimates getting A Familiar Tower print proofs shipped to me by the end of the month. Provided everything looks good, the next step is ordering all of the zine prints to the shipping center.
Surveys
I will send another update when surveys go out for final addresses and shipping charges. Maybe next month.
Hi, i also commented on drivethrough but my The Seers Sanctum that redeemed on Drivethrough only has the PDFs not the VTT add on with the hand outs and the maps.
If you backed at one of the "pack" tiers or selected Aberrant Reflections or The Seers Sanctum as an add-on, you should have received the digital copy through an e-mail from drivethrurpg.
If you don't see the e-mail, check your spam folder or try logging in to drivethrurpg. They usually have account notifications with a link to the listing. Let me know if you have any issues and I'll make sure you get what you need.
Thank you everyone for a super successful crowdfunding campaign! A Familiar Tower is still getting some finishing touches to make it as pleasant to read and usable at the table as possible. And because the funding went so well, I've been able to commission even more cool spot art from Skullboy to fill a few holes and make everything really sing together.
Calendar estimates still look on track.
February: Crowdfunding and layout tweaks. Success! March: Finishing touches. April: PDFs sent to backers. Print proofs and any needed corrections. May: Final prints made and shipped to warehouse. June: Packing and shipping to backers. July: Buffer. August: Zines start arriving in backer hands.
Zine Month projects still going strong
If you haven't taken a look at CAIN SUN yet, you should. Writer/Illustrator WacoMatrixo is the reason my dad has a successful entry into horror TTRPGs. My dad really took to the modified scenario Waco came up with for Screaming on the Alexis from Dead Planet. Waco has made a bunch of banger modules of his own since then and CAIN SUN looks like no exception. Have your players take control of alien parasites fighting for control of a host crew member's body.
We got stickers y'all. Thank you, again for helping to get this adventure in the world. Me and Mr. Skull are going to talk about what would be fun to make in addition to this little guy: So far we've got stickers AND pregen characters for A Familiar Tower with art from Skullboy! We're not through yet though. If there's a chance I can cover my entire dice lunch box in stickers, I want to go for it. If we reach 666 backers, Skullboy is going to summon forth a demon sticker for physical tiers.
There's 48 hours left to spread the word!
Don't forget about these other Puzzle Dungeon adventures!
I had the pleasure of reading both of these and providing feedback on them as part of Puzzle Dungeon Jam in November/December. These are both funding expanded and edited versions with some sweet art from the same kick-ass artist, Cameron Maas.
Outcast Unseelie and the Ooze Between features an ooze theme chock full of NPCs and factions to learn how to get the right amount of slime for your buck. Reservoir is a fleshy inside out dungeon that is the perfect amount of gross. I think players are really going to take to this and the timer mechanic before this thing takes over the world.
