Project Update: Pledge Manager Submitted for Review
Hey everyone,
Just letting you know that the Pledge Manager has been submitted for review. Likely, it will open sometime early next week.
I used Easy Ship to get most of the prices. Right now, EU prices are skewing higher than normal due to strained trade relations between the US and EU. The best price we fond was FedEx Internationl Connect Plus.
We'll do everything we can to get the prices down. The rest are fairly standard for US to Internationl.
And domestic shipping is a flat $15 regardless of what you order.
If you're in a country/region that isn't listed (we did Canada, EU, Australia, NZ, UK, and the EU) and want us to see if we can do better than the "Everywhere Else" fee, drop us a message at [email protected] and we'll do some digging. It's pretty easy to adjust after the fact and you won't get charged until the charge date which will be in mid-August.
Once the Pledge Manager closes, we'll start dropping "First Pass" pdfs for you to put your eyeballs on.

Project Update: Pledge Manager is coming (trying to solve the Canada shipping solution)
Hey friends,
I'm back from Origins and caught up. The Pledge Manager should open this week. I hope to submit it soon.
The big holdup is mainly Canadian shipping, which has two problems:
1) There's a big labor dispute right now that is preventing some shippers, namely DHL, from sending stuff that way.
2) We used UPS on the last Backerkit and, apparently, that's a big no-no as they will charge Canadians like... an additional $55 in customs fees (wtf UPS).
We're going with USPS, as some have suggested for Canada and the US. Sadly, it looks like we can't ship hardcovers from Amazon, as they've removed the option, but we do get some pretty heavy savings with Shopify. Of course, if you have any suggestions as a Canadian backer, let us know.
The only other thing I'm waiting on is the promo dice that a lot of you are getting. The trade fiasco in the US has backed up shipping lanes, so everything's coming reaaaal slow. As it stands, I have the fancy dice that went with the Negative version of the book, but only a handful of the promotional dice. The rest are coming.
The Pledge Manager will stay open for two weeks, giving you time to get your ducks in a row. After that, it will close, and I will start releasing the PDFs.

Project Update: Pledge Manager Next Week + Dave at Origins
Hey friends,
I've been working on the Pledge Manager and finishing up the last project, Werebeasts. I should have it live sometime next week. It'll then be open for three weeks, so I have time to finish polishing the bonus content. At that point, we'll lock, charge, and release the PDFs.
Looks like the tariff stuff is at a stalemate for a moment, but that doesn't matter since the only item we ordered overseas already came (and I paid a healthy tariff on it, womp womp). The books are being printed in the US via Amazon.
Anyways, just keeping you in the loop. Chat soon!

Project Update: Status Update (Funded Arrived, Content Being Sewed Up Now)
Hey all,
Just letting you know that the funds arrived safe and on time. So now we're putting forth any extra orders we need to do along with getting things printed. The core book and monster book have a few key art pieces I'm waiting on (gawd monster books take a ton of art), but those should both be done relatively soon.
It helps that we started doing monster art for this back in January. ;)
If this is your first time doing one of my pre-order/Patreon campaigns, here's what you can expect:

The core book and monster book have a few key art pieces I'm waiting on (gawd monster books take a ton of art), but those should both be done relatively soon.

If this is your first time doing one of my pre-order/Patreon campaigns, here's what you can expect:
- Funds arrived. Thank you all!
- Pledge Manager will open approximately 1-2 weeks from now, probably the first or second week of June.
- Pledge Manager will give you a chance to add items you didn't get the first time. And since we have some domestic goodies left from our last campaign, we'll be adding those in, too, along with other books we have in stock.
- Pledge Manager will stay open for 1-2 weeks, giving you time to get your shipping ducks in a row. Shipping will be relatively low UNLESS you live somewhere other than the US, Canada, the UK, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Brazil (I think... will double check), Australia, and New Zealand, OR if you get anything that isn't just a book. A lot of the stuff in this campaign will come directly from the printer, hence why we can save a bit (the printer is Amazon).
- After the Pledge Manager closes, we'll start locking in orders and charging cards for shipping/add-ons.
- After the first round of PM stuff, we start fulfilling the digital rewards. I tend to do this in waves because when dealing with many digital things, I want to ensure nothing is getting missed or mixed up. It's very easy to make mistakes here, and doing a few things spaced out keeps us "safe" for the most part.
- After digital goes out, we'll start sending out physical products. If the products come from our printer, we won't have tracking numbers for you until they're printed and on the way. Of course, I'll have like... a bajillion notifications on my Shop app to keep you in the loop. We *might* do domestic stuff via our facility in Norman, Oklahoma, so you'll get the tracking number as soon as we print the label.
PATREON BACKERS at the Gold+ level will get a chance to add extras they want for which they have credit. I'll set up a new Discord server and invite you to it on Patreon. The process will work similarly to last time. If it's your first time doing this, just hit me up. I'll tell you how much credit you have, then apply that to whatever you want. All you gotta pay for is shipping (again, it's like... $10).

PS If shit goes off the rails for some reason, I'll let you know what's up. I've learned from past campaign fuckups (of which I have many... ugh) that having shit done before the campaign ends is always best. In this case (and all campaigns going forward)... I do. But I also sometimes want to add more shit or do last minute edits. For example, the main book is like... 300 pages. I couldn't stop adding stuff.
Either way, I'll keep you in the loop.
