Hey everyone! Just a super quick status update: I have just placed the final order for this project, based on the survey responses so far. I waited until the surveys were about 75% in, extrapolated from there and put on a generous amount to account for defects, late surveys and and extra pre-orders that may come in.
Unsurprisingly, Inky Cap and Fly Agaric meows were by far the most popular picks, projected to come out at 120 pieces selected! Whew. Most others average at around 50-60 pieces which is not bad at all. The mini mushrooms were overall the least popular set but I expected that much, still every design got picked enough (least popular projected to be about 15) so I consider them all a success, yay!
What happens now: - Manu and I will work on the proofs for the final production (until Mid march, probably) - Mass production may take 2-3 months up until ~June - Pins will be shipped to me (~June) - Your cards will be charged for shipping & add-ons (~June) - I will break my back grading and packing all pins (~July) - Your addresses will be locked (~July) - Fulfillment! (~July)
Hey everyone! It's been a busy few days behind the scenes but today I bring some more fun news.
Sticker Update
The final sticker freebie pack is finalized with two more additions (morel and lion‘s mane). And the edible shroomies have a sticker edition too now! Remember that everyone gets one pack of emote stickers for free, but you can buy extra packs in the add-ons/pre-order shop. The edible mushrooms are a new sticker pack that are also available in the add-ons/pre-order shop.
Pre-Order Shop Open
If you missed the campaign, worry not - the Pre-Order shop is open and you can grab some things. The campaign incentives are gone but some items are still offered at a pretty good price compared to later.
Plus I put a decent amount of old cat pin designs in the add-on shop at a favourable price since I freshly restocked them and my boxes are ever so slightly overflowing :D
Since I currently have sooooo many pin designs available, I decided to only add the ones to the add-on shop that were somewhat related to this campaign (cats!). Survey Smoke Tests are coming
The survey setup has been approved on BK's side. I‘ll send out the smoke tests soon (meaning a small % of backers will get a survey to check if everything is working as intended) and once I have enough responses, everyone will get them. Keep an eye on your inbox so you don‘t miss them! You will then be able to choose your pin options, add any add-ons (to be charged together with shipping in a couple of months), preview your shipping+tariff charge and I will also ask a few questions to help me make future campaigns enjoyable for everyone :)
US Tariff situation remains unclear
As you may have heard, the IEEPA tariffs have been ruled unconstitutional. Yay! But it seems like new ones have replaced them and the EU is looking to re-negotiate some terms too, so I sadly cannot confirm anything at this point :‘) Your surveys will show a tariff value and I‘m planning to either stick to them or scrap them entirely if I can. I will not increase them unless something absolutely ridiculous happens, and in that case I will make sure to communicate clearly.
What‘s next
For now I will wait for the smoke tests to pass, and then everyone gets their survey. Once we have around 80% of orders confirmed I will finalize the order and manufacturing will start! In the time between now and fulfillment I will also finish all the digital rewards.
Heyyy everyone! WE DID IT! I mean, technically we had done it way earlier already, but now we OFFICIALLY DID IT! :D And we even hit the 14k mark, which was the original final stretch goal before I panic-lowered it (thank you for the kind sould who pledged the highest tier 2 minutes before end omg!). This year‘s Pintopia was weird in many ways, from how the numbers behaved to the browsing experience (to me at least), but I hope you all still had a good time and found many exciting pins and new artists.
Here‘s what happens next - Your cards are being charged as we‘re speaking. Some have already charged, others will still need to fix their cards, some are still pending. Please keep an eye on it to make sure you get what you pledged for! - I will prepare the survey in the meantime. The survey is where you choose your actual pins, answer some additional questions and enter your address. Typically surveys go out after 2 weeks because that‘s the time it takes for data to fully process. So expect it by the end of February. Please answer the survey asap when you get it! The responses are needed for me to estimate which pins I need to order a lot of, and which ones not so much. - The Pre-Order shop will open in a few days if you missed the campaign! - Once the surveys are at least 80% filled out, I will (generously) estimate the amount of pins I need to order and place the order. - I will show you manufacturing WIPs - I will provide the digital rewards somewhere along the way. - LATE EDIT: I WILL MAKE MORE SILLY SHROOMIE STICKERS! Since we reached 14k :D

Hey hey all! Phew, we're almost at the last day for Pintopia, another edition with... well, I would say with highs and lows but it's been the most constant crowdfunding campaign I've ever had, with little movement at all. Which is fine, since we overfunded a lot in the beginning! I must thank you all for supporting me so much right on the first days!
We didn't get the last mile spike that we hoped for, but I really want to make these glowy shroomies and I know that many of you updated their pledges for them already. Judging by that, there's definitely enough interest in them to make them x) So here we go, officially unlocked:
Additionally, someone asked about the mini mushroom family as stickers. Ask and you shall receive. These will be available post-campaign because I still want to refine their designs and I want you to see the final artwork before deciding to get them. They‘ll be 4-8cm (1.5-3“).
The only thing I'll not be "unlocking" is adding more stickers to the free goodie pack because the current funding doesn't justify more designwork. I'd like to focus on refining the current ones so they can be the best version of themselves instead, I hope you understand this decision & I think the value provided by the pledges is already pretty good this campaign with all the extra pins and the 8 free stickers. 🙏

The theme is folk&fairytale, and I want to participate by making flowers that appear in folklore. Hello everyoneee! I hope you‘ve all been enjoying a wonderful weekend. I have one last addition to this campaign, a little stretch goal that we can surely make in the last mile of Pintopia - a filler pin set with glow effect that will match the mushroom tea set perfectly. Same pantones, same glow! How this works: To pledge for this pin set, pledge for 1x Regular Size Pin. If we don‘t reach 14k, we will try to unlock it in the Pledge Manager as a Post-Campaign Stretch Goal.
And of course if we reach 14k, more cute little stickers will be added too in your goodies bundle!
