I have been absolutely unable to play this game ever since I got the book. This game was advertised as a Powered by the Apocalypse style game, meaning that it should have been rules-lite and simplistic. However, that all went out the window as soon as I opened the book. From the complicated deck building to the over-detailed character sheets, I felt like I wasted my money on a game I'll never be able to play.
Hey folks. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough online, but does Double Summon have a discord for PD? I wanna play with some people, but its been hard for me to do so. Thanks!

Hi! I'm from Spain and I still haven't received the book. I sent japanime an email via their website you linked, but I have gotten no response after a few weeks. How should I contact them? Should I contact them again?
Project Update: Shipping Update #5! (Ft. the Community Cube)
Shipping Update #5 - Another Shipment Out!
Japanime Games has informed Nora and myself that the books for backers in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore have all been shipped out - you should have the tracking number in your emails! We actually found this wave of shipments out after waking up and seeing people posting their newly-arrived copy of Perfect Draw! in our discord, which was a pleasant surprise.
As to all those for whom it'll take a little longer:
orders for backers in the EU and UK are still in the middle of being fulfilled before they're shipped out. Delivery in this area can be a bit of an arduous process... That being said, folks in the EU should be getting a tracking code soon enough, so keep an eye out!
If anyone has yet to receive their tracking code or their order, Japanime Games has told us they're happy to check all of those orders individually to see what's going on - please feel free to ask them via their contact page and follow up through us if they don't respond to that.
Community Cube Enters The Voting Phase!
Seeing so many different NPC designs and concepts kind of warms my heart. Thank you so much for supporting Perfect Draw! - we look forward to hearing more and more tales of exciting in-person games!

Project Update: Shipping Update #4 (+ Announcing a Perfect Draw! Game Jam)
People have started receiving their books!!! If you're a part of our Discord, then you've already been seeing all the excited posts of people finally getting their hands on the physical game!
Backer rewards across the USA, Australia, and much of Europe have almost all been sent off. Those in Canada, UK, and the Rest of the World may be waiting a little bit longer as they are sent off from international warehouses.
If you haven't received your email yet with shipping information, don't worry. Japanime Games are a relatively small team but process logistics themselves. This is part of how we were able to keep shipping costs so low - but it also means that only so many packages can be sent in a day, so you'll likely receive information soon.
If your copy of Perfect Draw! has arrived with significant damages then the best thing you can do is contact the Japanime Games team here. We made sure to print out extra copies for exactly this situation, so please let them know so we can get things fixed.
Now that we've covered all that, we can announce something really exciting that we've been working on in the background!!
The Community Cube - A Perfect Draw Game Jam
Since releasing Perfect Draw!, we've seen a massive number of incredible NPC Encounters made with the game's systems. There's a lot of innovation that we never could have predicted - and we want to reward and spotlight people for the incredible work they've done! To achieve this, we're hosting a Game Jam called the Perfect Draw! Community Cube.
Starting in just 10 Days and lasting about two weeks, this Game Jam will let you submit NPC Encounters with the chance to be rewarded with an Exclusive Perfect Draw! Playmat we've designed specifically for this occasion.
The highest rated by the three judging panels will each be delivered their prize and highlighted to fans of Perfect Draw! We're happy to announce that the three Judging Panels for this Game Jam are:
- Double Summon Games: The creators of the game, Nora Jean Haynes and Iris Cassandra Saintclaire.
- Dimension Chasers: The Perfect Draw! Actual Play team hosted by Nel Celestine on Twitch.
- Community Vote: Submissions will be voted on by the community to find the fan favorite encounter design.
If you're interested in submitting an encounter or just want to learn more, check out the details here on Itch.io. Best of luck to everyone involved!
