Hi! I'm from Spain and I still haven't received the book. I sent japanime an email via their website you linked, but I have gotten no response after a few weeks. How should I contact them? Should I contact them again?
Project Update: Shipping Update #5! (Ft. the Community Cube)
Shipping Update #5 - Another Shipment Out!
Japanime Games has informed Nora and myself that the books for backers in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore have all been shipped out - you should have the tracking number in your emails! We actually found this wave of shipments out after waking up and seeing people posting their newly-arrived copy of Perfect Draw! in our discord, which was a pleasant surprise.
As to all those for whom it'll take a little longer:
orders for backers in the EU and UK are still in the middle of being fulfilled before they're shipped out. Delivery in this area can be a bit of an arduous process... That being said, folks in the EU should be getting a tracking code soon enough, so keep an eye out!
If anyone has yet to receive their tracking code or their order, Japanime Games has told us they're happy to check all of those orders individually to see what's going on - please feel free to ask them via their contact page and follow up through us if they don't respond to that.
Community Cube Enters The Voting Phase!
Seeing so many different NPC designs and concepts kind of warms my heart. Thank you so much for supporting Perfect Draw! - we look forward to hearing more and more tales of exciting in-person games!

Project Update: Shipping Update #4 (+ Announcing a Perfect Draw! Game Jam)
People have started receiving their books!!! If you're a part of our Discord, then you've already been seeing all the excited posts of people finally getting their hands on the physical game!
Backer rewards across the USA, Australia, and much of Europe have almost all been sent off. Those in Canada, UK, and the Rest of the World may be waiting a little bit longer as they are sent off from international warehouses.
If you haven't received your email yet with shipping information, don't worry. Japanime Games are a relatively small team but process logistics themselves. This is part of how we were able to keep shipping costs so low - but it also means that only so many packages can be sent in a day, so you'll likely receive information soon.
If your copy of Perfect Draw! has arrived with significant damages then the best thing you can do is contact the Japanime Games team here. We made sure to print out extra copies for exactly this situation, so please let them know so we can get things fixed.
Now that we've covered all that, we can announce something really exciting that we've been working on in the background!!
The Community Cube - A Perfect Draw Game Jam
Since releasing Perfect Draw!, we've seen a massive number of incredible NPC Encounters made with the game's systems. There's a lot of innovation that we never could have predicted - and we want to reward and spotlight people for the incredible work they've done! To achieve this, we're hosting a Game Jam called the Perfect Draw! Community Cube.
Starting in just 10 Days and lasting about two weeks, this Game Jam will let you submit NPC Encounters with the chance to be rewarded with an Exclusive Perfect Draw! Playmat we've designed specifically for this occasion.
The highest rated by the three judging panels will each be delivered their prize and highlighted to fans of Perfect Draw! We're happy to announce that the three Judging Panels for this Game Jam are:
- Double Summon Games: The creators of the game, Nora Jean Haynes and Iris Cassandra Saintclaire.
- Dimension Chasers: The Perfect Draw! Actual Play team hosted by Nel Celestine on Twitch.
- Community Vote: Submissions will be voted on by the community to find the fan favorite encounter design.
If you're interested in submitting an encounter or just want to learn more, check out the details here on Itch.io. Best of luck to everyone involved!

Thank you all so much for your time and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Project Update: Shipping Update #3 (The Effects of Tarrifs & Non-US Information)
It's been just over two weeks since the last update - Sorely there have been some changes in the timeline we were given due to the ongoing political situation in the US, but I'm glad to say that there's some good news to be had too!
- USA: The Japanime Games Team had told us two weeks ago that regional shipments had gone out and population centers should be getting their information within a week or two. Frustratingly, due to President Trump's tariffs, the whole logistics industry has been in complete disarray. We got in under the increased costs, but for a time there where rumors that these could retroactively affect projects like ours and no one knew what was going on. Thankfully, things are back on track now and we know mostly whats going on (hopefully), so things should be shipping out this week.
- Europe: The books reached the warehouse in Germany last week! Everything still needs to be processed but you should be hearing about your order soon.
- Canada & Australia: The carrier with the books is on it's way and should arrive some time in the next week! Due to the lower number of orders from these regions you should hear something back soon after they hit port.
Thank you all so much for your time and patience. The delays have been deeply frustrating for us - and while we've tried to avoid the turmoils that came with the 2024 US elections, it's had some cascading effects that we couldn't predict for.
With that said - I hope you all have a great week!

Project Update: Shipping Update #2 (And a Special Bonus NPC Encounter!)
We've been asked a couple times for an update on shipping, and while we would have loved to give some more information out earlier, things are out of our hands now - meaning we rely on when the logistics providers can supply us with additional information to pass your way.
That said, just earlier today we received an update with some exciting news!
Books Are On Their Way To Your Homes! Or at least they will be soon, if you're in the USA. Some backers should have already received their tracking information (particularly backers in more regional areas), but if you live in a population center it may take a bit more time since those will generally all be shipped together and all need to be processed.
If you live outside the USA, then your books are still on the freight carriers from the factory - none of them have reached port yet as far as we know, and when they do will be dependent on your region (for example, Europeans should be able to expect things fairly soon, while Australians may have to wait some more time.)
Who Can I Contact About Shipping Problems?
Celebrating Despair Dilemma with a Special NPC Encounter!
In all of the excitement, Iris (Our lead editor and co-designer on both games) wanted to celebrate with by making an NPC encounter for Perfect Draw! featuring the "Death Game Mascot" of the book, Usashi:
Just like with Perfect Draw!, Despair Dilemma is already a near complete game and we'll have a Prototype PDF available to everyone who supports it in the same way as we did here once the funding period ends! For now, backers are working with us to make a custom Death Game called "The Purgatory Express", where each element is voted on before we include it in the final book.
We're really proud of the game, so if you're a fan of the genre or just TTRPGs that do a little bit different, I hope you'll support us by giving the game a look!

Thank you for your time and have a lovely weekend!
