March (April) Madness Day 11: The Final Matchup!
Here we are, the final matchup:

I am happy to report that things are progressing- I have for you some good news, and some... just okay news (but not really 'bad'):
The good news:
Surveys are very close to done, I just had to manually send out a few to people who seem to not have been receiving updates in their inbox.
That means that any shirts or sweatshirts will ship very soon!
My good friend and fellow artist Camilla Stark agreed to write an introduction for the book, and it's really nice!
I recently changed directions a bit for layout to some thing that I think will be even better!
The okay news:
Since I felt some new inspiration for the layout, the book is going to need a little more time. I think we're still on track to get everything out in the next ~2 months, but my original goal of shipping in September is unfortunately too soon. I promise the changes are going to be worth it!
And finally, something new to preview:
Below is a picture of the type of material making its way into the book. I decorated this dream journal as a missionary, and I felt like it was kind of my first journey into religiously inspired collage, so I am scanning it to include it in the book!

March Madness Art Prints!
Almost all surveys are done, and now that August has been done I am getting close to locking a lot of things down. If you haven't ordered or finalized anything, do it sooner than later! I will make sure to send a final 24 hour warning.
We're getting close! Hopefully I can show you some completed spreads in a future update very soon!

Art prints are ordered and printed but I haven't seen them come yet. I need to check with the shop.
About 75% of backers have done their surveys, so thank you if that's you, and if not, get on it! I'd like to have orders locked by the end of the month or so!
I also have an editor lined up to look over the manuscript (once I get it locked in)!

Hey all, apologies for no update last week, I was out of town.

Stickers have been finalized and ordered.
Shirts and sweatshirts got delayed, because I had to set up Backerkit's survey form to best gather all shipping and sizes, but..
I set up the survey, and have requested a review before it goes out. Keep an eye out for it, no matter what your order was! It will be the best way to get things to you.
This week, I will be:
Researching and finalizing the March Madness art prints.
Doing more revisions and layout on the book (still doesn't feel how I want it to, but we are progressing).
Sending out all shirts, assuming the survey goes out, and gets completed!
Thank you for your patience and support. Today marks 3 months and 3 days since the project was funded, and I have set a deadline to get everything done no later than 3 months and 3 days from today! 🤞 But hopefully sooner!

First of all, I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates. Thank you for your support in bringing this project to life! After the funding was complete, life got hectic quickly. I've been working on the book, but also trying to stay above water in terms of other personal projects and general stress.
But I owe all of you updates on my progress, so I decided to start these weekly updates!
Today I will be shipping out any shirts from any pledges or add-ons. Due to the way I am having the shirts printed, they will ship independently of all other rewards. If you ordered one of these, it should come to you in the next week or so!
I will be finalizing stickers and bookmarks as well, although these rewards will ship out packed flat with your books.
Speaking of the books, I have had a printer set in mind since before the project launched, but I have been exploring some other printers to hopefully provide a few improved features.
Thank you so much! I wish I had a locked in timeline for the rest, but editing the book is going to take a little more time. I continue to tear down some ideas and build them up better. But rest assured, my goal is to have everything delivered within this year. I have so many other projects I'd like to start work on and share with you after this one, so it needs to fly the coop!
