PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: April/May Updates
Hello!
We have some really good news for backers-- but first let me count off some of the progress we have been making over the last couple weeks.
We've continued polishing off the factions and making sure there is a good balance between player faction choices and smooth playability and GM ability. We have been very thoroughly going through the draft cataloging each interplay instance where a faction may or may not bump into a rival just to make sure we haven't missed anything with that aspect specifically, as well as building out the relics, which points in the adventure they come up, and balancing which ones are found in their respective sequence to account for a few variables and player choices.
Also, we do have a project coming up that is a pretty good companion supplement to 100 Hidden Rooms for anyone who may be interested in following our pre-launch.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: March 2024
We are clicking right along with the manual. Hoping to get into the full swing of manual editing in the next 4-6 weeks here based on current drafting progress.
We've been hard at work fleshing out a few campaign-specific factions and side quests. I think you'll definitely be happy with those. We've rearranged a couple of faction sections within the manual to make gameplay a bit smoother -- and planning a bit simpler for the respective GM -- and overall we're pretty happy with where things are at. We also have a couple of buffs/debuffs that have some interplay with the god-pledge class we built out in the Terramyr Compendium that could affect gameplay if a character chooses certain options available within the campaign and some of the guilds/factions that should create a good variety of outcomes :)
I do want to apologize for being a couple weeks late with the update. Administratively speaking, the update fell by the wayside because my wife and I found out we're pregnant! So as you can imagine there has been a lot to do around the house. Still on track with the manual itself and should be able to finish play testing on time and all of that, but I do want to both own up to the fact that today is most definitely not March 10th, so I am a bit later than I had planned. Hopefully the news of a new baby on the way will soften that a bit thought :)
I will have another update in 4-6 weeks for The Undiscovered Country.
In the meantime, if any of you like audio books, production on one of mine just wrapped and it launched today actually! Narrated by the amazing Paul Boehmer, Empire is book 4 in The Dragons of Kendualdern series. (A setting that frankly begs to be made into a 5e compatible campaign... but that will have to wait until after The Undiscovered Country is finished :) )

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: February 2024
Hello everyone and happy February!
Wanted to get you all some insight into where we're at for The Undiscovered Country manual.
We're on track so far for our timeline. Over the past month we've been heavily focused in building out the factions, play testing their perks and benefits and debuffs. We're happy to say that we think you'll find them quite interesting, and they should make for some replayability as well as generally adding to encounters and campaigns outside of this setting if you should so choose to use the factions in other settings/games.
We've spent a lot of time over the last couple weeks working on city maps and related locale maps for the manual. We're doing our best to make the maps robust, usable, and ensuring they're accurate and engaging as well as convenient to read and use in game prep and gameplay.
We have also been polishing a few NPCs and quest givers. As we've fleshed out the maps a bit we have created some NPCs that are optional for the campaign, but can help give the world a more full feeling.
I will have another update for you in about a month for The Undiscovered Country, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Also, if you jumped into the 100 Hidden Rooms campaign you should have seen the surveys go out for that today as well as a project update concerning delivery timelines. We're ahead of the original schedule there and aiming to send those rewards out once the funds are transferred and confirmed around the 15th or so, depending on when KS makes the deposit. In the meantime, we wanted to make you aware of a very cool project campaign going on now.

Dragons Under the Mountain: Monsters in Iverglendar (5e compatible). This project has currently already reached funding and voting on stretch goals.
The comic attached to this project is already finished and ready to ship in digital and physical formats, and the adventure is set to ship in April 2024.
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: January 2024
Hello everyone and happy new year!
Wanted to get you all some insight into where we're at for The Undiscovered Country manual. I decided to break down the difference between being "drafted" and "plotted" so you can see that main quest lines, main encounters, and some sub-quests or branch quest lines are fully completed whereas the drafting progress is for actually compiling and formatting in the manual itself in a presentable format.
The plotting progress may go through a couple iterations as the drafting process progresses, but should be relatively stable. The big baddies, main plot points and NPCs, factions, etc., are all in the plotting documents. The drafting is where they all get polished into manual format, appropriate loot, notes, lore, etc., are added as well.
We're on track so far for our timeline, and I'm pretty excited about the different creatures and places you are all going to see in this book.
Main quest line fully plotted? Yep.
Quest branches plotted? Yes, but we're working on adding a couple options. So maybe 80-ish percent on this. I expect it will fluctuate a bit as we finalize which branches work best.
Manual draft progress: 45-50%
Play testing: We have tested about 80% of the new creatures in various one off scenarios to test mechanics, CR, and overall functionality. Campaign playtesting of course will begin once the draft is done.
I will have another update for you in about a month, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
In the meantime, we wanted to make you aware of two very cool project campaigns going on now, one by us and another by Leopard Print Press that looks very, very fun!

100 Hidden Rooms for 5e (currently already reached funding and some stretch goals)
This is a very fun -- digital only-- supplement for 5e. If you've ever had any of these thoughts as a GM:
- Running a new party through a dungeon you've used before with another party and wish you had something quick and fully ready to plug into it?
- Ever run through a manor or palace several times as the party keeps returning looking for new clues and you wish you had something new for them to explore?
- Ever had a cave or building be too small, or your players simply had great dice rolls and they obliterated it far too quickly?
- Did your players go to a different part of town and you need to make a whole building from scratch without making them wait?
- Or have you ever looked at a map and stared at the empty storage room shaking your head and wishing it was a cooler room?
Then 100 Hidden Rooms is for you!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Quick update
Hello!
We've been hard at work on the project.
We're about 30-35% through the initial draft. However, we have also taken a look at the overall outline and looked for interesting pivot points and plot branches to make the adventure a bit more dynamic and fun.
Additionally we have been working really hard on both factions and the races mentioned. Putting a few characters with the race builds through some one offs and such just to check the balance.
In January we'll make another push on getting through the draft of the adventure.
And thanks to those of you that filled out the polls. I see monthly updates won the majority, so I will do my best to schedule a 2nd Tuesday of each month update so we can be regular in communication and you can see where things are at. :)
Until next time, happy holidays and here's looking forward to a happy new year!
All the best,
--Sam
