The Army of Darkness games are about a week away from arriving at the New York port at this time. Their ocean voyage is estimating arrival at port on or around April 6th. Once the games arrive at the port - they will be received, unloaded, packed onto a railroad car and sent on their way to our distribution partner. Once this happens and the games arrive at our fulfillment partner, we will be ready to begin shipping to backers.
We had a few questions about the Army of Darkness game being available in comic shops early. Those dates have been corrected. The games will not ship to comic shops until several months after they fill through Backerkit. All of our backers will have the games first and we are also supplying a special bonus gift - a digital download of an Army of Darkness graphic novel. We will be circulating the download code for this free gift once we start shipping the games - watch for updates with instructions coming your way in the near future.

We have been notified that the Army of Darkness games have been released from customs at this time. Our factory has received the paperwork and is helping to move them to the freight forwarder. Upon arrival at the shipper, the games to be placed on the next available container to ship to the port in the United States.
We've requested that the shipper confirm the start of the timeline from when the games are loaded into the container. There is a container shortage in China at the moment but we believe it will not be more than a few weeks to go from the queue to being loaded for shipping, and then on the water to come to us.
As soon as we have the confirmation on the shipping transit timeline we will get another update posted and begin the countdown for the games to arrive at port. From port they will be unloaded from the ship and transported to our fulfillment center by rail.
We've been working behind the scenes with the Chinese customs team that is evaluating the Army of Darkness game (and another game) to be released to our freight forwarder.
Over the past several weeks we have had multiple exchanges with customs in China as they have increased their scrutiny of goods bound for the USA.
After nearly a month of exchanging information and providing details, they seem to be moving the shipment along. The freight forwarder is ready to load the games into a container for shipping as soon as they are released.
We hope that they will give us a positive update by the end of next week. If the games are cleared, they will be moved onto freight with the next available container ship leaving the country for the USA. We will keep you posted as we know more.
The factory had some issues with the palletization and preparation for the shipping to the US. They have notified us that these issues have been resolved and that the freight forwarding company is working to schedule the container which will ship the full order of games to our warehouse. We're expecting to get an update on the projected transportation time by this time next week.
As soon as we have that update and are able to give a solid projection for the games to arrive at port in the US we will provide another update. From port the games will be loaded on a train and shipped to our fulfilment partner for shipping to customers. We will continue to notify everyone as we get the timeline finalized for the various stops on the way to the shipping warehouse.
We've got some great news. The factory just confirmed that the initial production run of Army of Darkness has been completed! They are working now on getting the games ready to begin shipping to the US. It normally takes about 45 days or so from when the product gets on a boat to when it arrives at the port. We will keep everyone updated on the progress toward the games leaving the factory over the next few weeks.
