Updates

We found out that there was a major problem in communication with the factory in China about the production of the Stray Dogs plush.  Unfortunately - they have not completed manufacturing at this time as we were hoping was the case.  The good news is that we seem to have straightened out the issue and the factory is schedule to go back to production next week.

There is always the possibility of unexpected problems arising with these kinds of projects.  Unfortunately this program really ended up having a series of issues that has really delayed it further than anyone would like.  We understand the frustration this has caused - we feel it as well.  And we are going to put together something special to give to all the backers who have waited for these plush figures to be completed.

Right now, we are working with Tony and Trish to come up with something special to give everyone for your support and patience.  They are working up some art for us to use and we're going to make some special added thank you gifts for everyone who backed this campaign.  We expect to get that finalized and announce it in the next week or two.  

In the meantime - the production schedule when they go back to press in the factory will most likely have the plush finished by the end of May.  At that time they'll be shipped via boat to a port in the US.  And after that be transported to the fulfillment center in Pennsylvania.  We will keep you updated on the progress with the factory and shipping as soon as the factory reports their progress.  

It's been a heck of a year (in just 5 months)...  April has come in like a lion and out like a megalodon.  But amid all the crazy world news and current events, we have reconnected with the factory that is manufacturing the Stray Dogs plush and are on a new production schedule.  Certainly no one can predict how the rest of this year will go.  But as it appears that trade disruptions are lessening and moving in the right direction, that the process of moving manufacturing forward can once again begin in earnest.  

Our partners at the factory are moving Stray Dogs plush into active production.  They will need a few weeks to get things up to speed and then the plush will be actively moving toward completion.  Our early estimates currently show the plush being ready to ship to backers in September.  Certainly longer than we would have preferred but we are happy to have a new target date.  They also told us that should things run smoothly - it could be a little sooner - so for now we'll just be hopeful to hit the projected date and we can all celebrate if it ends up being any earlier.  

We're going to get some videos together to give you a closer look at the actual plush prototypes in the meantime.  And we'll be getting some messages from Tony and Trish as well to keep you updated.  Watch for more info coming in soon.  Thanks for your patience and understanding. 

We are working with Tony and Trish to begin production on the Stray Dogs plushies.  The factory has the final tweaks and is looking to slot production in as soon as possible.  We're coordinating with them to determine the timeline for production and shipping so that we can update everyone on the ETA for these cool plush to arrive.  We'll keep everyone appraised of the projected schedule and will work with the factory to send some photography from the manufacturing floor as the plushies are made.
