Hello! It's been a short while. As mentioned last time, the most recent update is that: I've gone back to work full time to save the $$$ cover tariffs.
But recently some tariff rules have changed!
So what's important; previous tariffs are removed. However, the president is a relatively retalitory person lol so there are indeed new tariffs in place. They are significantly less as of right now, can only last a maximum of 150 days under this current law, which puts me a lot closer to the goal! However, given the recent series of events, and how deadset this admin here in the USA seems to be about having the tariffs, I cannot guarantee that "waiting it out(150 days)" = "no tariffs", so as far as I am concerned, I am still just working and staying on track to get the money needed, and hoping there aren't any major changes to the current system.
This *does* make it easier on a few fronts though, and I may begin the process of just having one design of sweater at a time sent on over, and send them out to you all individually like I did with the purses.
They are also (claiming) refunds may be in place for those who paid previous tariffs, and since I had to pay the 125% previously for the purses that got us pushed so far back, fingers crossed a refund could help us cover this as well.
As before, I am still less online now with working full time - if you ordered a purse, and did not receive it, send an email to [email protected] and I am happy to get that sent to you ASAP.
We made it to the end of the year! I got a message reminding me I haven't posted the monthly update - so I apologize!
I went back to work full time! I just started, but this is entirely so I can put as much of my own funds as possible towards the tariffs and shipping costs needed to complete this project. Unfortunately (combined with paying 125% tariffs for the purses earlier this year) working shows left us in the red, so I decided it was time to reevaluate the ways to earn these funds, and I am working full time again. It should take a little time, but I am lucky to be in the position where I am able to put my income towards this.
At this point (to my knowledge) all domestic purses have been sent out! If you did not receive: a tracking number or a purse, and ordered one, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL WITH YOUR ORDER NAME TO [email protected]
All International Purses will be going out this week!
As a reminder! If you were charged shipping for your purses, you will not be charged twice. You will receive your sweater(s) at a later date, but there will not be multiple charges for shipping in this case, this is another cost that I am fronting!
Again, I apologize for the delay in updates - however we have little updates to share. The purses have been sent out and I am at this point just working a 9-5 to get the money for the tariffs needed. It is not super interesting, but again, always feel free to send an email, as I check that every week, and am on social media very sparingly at this point.
Hey there! Our October updates are coming in just a little early, as I am getting ready to go out of town. I am on vacation until the 5th. I haven't really taken anytime for myself after my grandfather's passing, so I wanted to make sure to do so before I head to all the shows I have lined up this month!
However, in-between, I will be continuing to ship out purse orders. If you had a purse in your order, you should have it by the end of the month (Oct 31st)
I will be mostly out of office this month, as the calendar is almost entirely markets and shows. Since this is a busy month, this is my kind of occasional reminder that I won't be able to monitor online as much, but I do check my email weekly, so be sure to email [email protected] with any questions
And another reminder: if you have the money to support small businesses at markets and such, please do so! I am not the only one in this space with the tariff trouble, and as much as I'd love everyone to only ever shop at my booths and tables - a lot of these people at conventions and such are my friends, and the current everything...sucks for all of us. Support where you can!
Hello! Small updates here - nothing major. Purses are still going out slowly but surely. We had a death in the immediate family shortly after returning from the last convention at the end of August, and I have been in and out of town helping with that. However, things are still on track - only mildly behind with this setback! Of course, still working as much as possible to try and fill in tariff gaps. Lots of us artists are having a hard time in our artist alleys with the increased prices of everything, so be sure to support folks if you can!

The purses have arrived (apologies for the blocked out address labels haha)
These will begin going out the week of Aug 3rd, if you had a purse in your order, please make sure your address is up to date! If you ordered both, you will receive the purses and the sweaters in separate packages! You may see a charge for the shipping at this time. I am working a convention the 7-12th and 20-25th, so shipping will be slowed or delayed during this time!
For the sweaters: In the spirit of full transparency, the estimated total for shipping now with the additional tariffs is $4000. The current tariff pricing was extended another 90 days, so I am hoping to be able to get things moving before a potential adjustment to the cost....As mentioned, I am regularly working conventions to save up the money needed, and there is several thousand $$$ worth of failed charges from the campaign. Between collection for those two factors, I believe, we should be able to have these completed in production shipped to us in the next couple of months, just in time for cooler weather! I am working diligently trying to curb the costs of these tariffs, without having to put the cost on the consumers for all of your awesome support.
