Campaign Update

I have finished every order I have the information I need for! There is one lingering with uncleared funds, one survey that I haven't received, and one that I'm waiting for custom art direction, but everything else is not only mailed but probably also already delivered! I am very close to out of the bonus cards and the crowdfunded edition of the companion guide, so if you missed out, or want a second copy, or you know someone who desperately needs this deck, you'd better grab it soon.

I would LOVE to hear from you if your order arrived safely and know which parts you enjoyed most. Have you done a few readings? Is the system intuitive?? I would ESPECIALLY like to know what your favorite card in the deck is, and which layout you like best (if you got the guidebook)!

What am I working on next?

I have a book coming out next week, A Bear in a Birdbath, which is a silly-fluffy menage romance book with a Fairy, a Troll, and a Cave Bear. Next on my writing desk is a prequel novella for Green Valley Shifters. (If you'd like to download a checklist of all my Elva Birch books, I have one you can print here!)

I'm also planning to put together a new coloring book before the holidays - this one a print on demand retrospective with the best of my previous four solo books and seven new pieces! I will also have spiral bound books available direct - including left-hand bound!

I went to a Viking Festival two weekends ago, bought an antler headdress that I didn't take off all weekend, and got to hold a gyrfalcon!!

I have four orders left on my desk - two to be delivered here in town, and two that have custom artwork that I still need to draw. I also have to get the coloring book add-ons out to those who added them. Most packages are priority mail, and even the international shipments are estimated at only ten days! 

Other than that, all packages are off! Tracking numbers should be in your inboxes, unless you are one of my THREE missing surveys. I will be emailing you directly, and will also have those coloring book add-ons delivered by the end of the week. (Hopefully today or tomorrow!) If I missed ANYTHING in your package, or if anything arrives damaged, misprinted, or plain wrong, please reach out. I checked everything twice, but I also found a few mysterious extras lying around on my desk, so it's entirely possible I messed something up and I want you to be wildly happy with your Unicorn Key.

I am spraying books and packing boxes and signing and sketching and counting and picking my hair out of packing tape! It is so crazy to have worked on this project for so many years and now to see an actual finish line for it.

Decks are arriving at their new homes! (MY BABIES!!) If you post photos online, please tag me or email me and let me know so I can come gush at you! [email protected]

I did want to give a headsup for those of you getting only the deck - I am sending the bookmarks, stickers, and postcards SEPARATELY from the deck. I didn't want them to get bowed around the deck in the packaging I was using, and it was cheaper to send another envelope with a stamp than to upgrade the packaging and pay more shipping. Besides, this way, you get the fun of TWO things in the mail! Orders with Guidebooks will be all together, since I'm already stiffening the book for protection.

You may notice that you also get an "extra" card #14. This is because the card in the deck was printed upside down - the Act and React aspects were supposed to be on opposite sides. It works fine either way, you can decide which card to use and toss the other, or keep it as a collectible. It was a tiny error, but I knew it was going to bug me forever. 

If I managed to miss a bonus card that you should have (the Patreon or Newsletter cards, in particular), or if I mixed up your stickers or bookmarks, just drop me a line. I am enthusiastic, but there is still just one of me, and all errors are my own!

How exclusive is this campaign? I ordered a handful (about 20) of the crowdfunding extras and special guidebooks because I know that things might get lost or damaged and I want to be able to replace them. Once fulfillment is complete and any replacements are made, any remaining will be available at an extra cost. Future editions of the guidebook will not include any of the bonus cards. I also ordered 150 extra decks, to take to shows and sell through my webpage, but again, these will not also have the bonus cards included. You've really got a one-of-a-kind product! 

The Companion Guidebooks have been shipped and are scheduled to arrive on MONDAY, so I will be making a big push next week to get everything out. I am still missing fourteen surveys, so get those in so I can meet my arbitrary end-of-the-month deadline! *snaps whip*
