How does it work? The process follows three stages: 1- Creators offer a reservation reward on the Pre-launch Page (for example, a $5 reservation to secure a free bonus item). 2-Supporters follow the project, then pay a modest amount to reserve their special perk. 3-At launch, reserving supporters return to pledge, with their reward automatically added to their checkout cart. Where can we do our Reserve? Your reservation offer appears on the Pre-launch Page as a Reserve your spot callout — but only to backers who have already followed the project. So make sure to follow first; the reservation prompt surfaces automatically. Why Are We Asking for a $5 Reservation? It helps us forecast demand and production more accurately before we launch, as well as help fund the campaign. This means less risk for us and more exclusive bonus opportunities for you! What are we getting with our reserve? For this campaign, you will receive the Circle Punica Study Pin as your reward for your early support.

How It Works. Pay Over Time allows backers to split pledges of $150 or more (before shipping and tax) into four interest-free, automated monthly installments, no additional charges. These installments will begin as soon as the campaign ends and will need to be completed before filling out the survey. They are not refundable.

Your payment method will not be charged right away. You will be charged for the amount of your pledge when the market ends. And a second time after you finish the survey for your selections, the shipping, and any additional items you have added.

Freebies are bonus items included as part of campaign milestones or special promotions. As a small business, I typically create these from overstock, planned production runs, or items I can produce manually alongside the campaign. They’re meant to be a thank-you gift and added surprise, not a guaranteed product selection. Because production and funding are carefully planned in advance, freebies are fixed and cannot be swapped or customized. That said, they often make wonderful gifts or trade pieces within the community ✨

To reduce waste, we will now package pins in individual protective baggies without backing cards. They will be placed inside a reusable pouch for safe shipping, and as a nice bonus.

Due to the new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requirements, small businesses like mine face significant challenges in complying with these new safety and documentation standards. This includes increased costs and administrative work that are difficult to manage at my scale. I am exploring ways to comply with the GPSR and hope to offer EU shipping in the future. BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
