A snail mail club for fantasy readers are art lovers. Every month, receive a fantasy letter, art print, and other paper goodies lovingly sent through the post.
Out from and within the faerie kingdom of Látwill, many a crow flies. They gather stories of their King Beneath the Earth, who has existed long before time was counted, in his Fair Halls of faeryland, among his kin—as well as from all the realms of the fae, and of those little humans in their world beyond.
Snail mail clubs are a way of keeping letters and tangible stories and art alive. For each month you decide to subscribe, you receive a themed letter telling you a story from the fae world of Látwill, as well as an art print illustrated to match that month's letter!
As well, you will receive an extra goodie themed around that month, whether it be a sticker, sticker sheet, bookmark, recipe card, or something else!
All of this will come sealed with a custom wax seal, within a stamped cello envelope.

November's letter is in progress and will be updated when the letter and artwork is finalized!
***If you order extra art prints, they will come with the letter to which they are assigned! For instance, if you order extra art prints for September and October, you will receive the September extra art prints in the September letter, then the October extra art prints in October's letter!***
Letters will be sent once a month like a normal snail mail club! Since Backerkit will not process orders until partially through October, September's letter will be sent near or alongside October's letter if you choose to get more than one!
The rough timeline is as follows:
September & October's Letters: sends late October November's Letter: sends late November December's Letter: sends late December
💌 Domestic (US) letters typically take 2-5 business days to arrive, but can sometimes take up to 2 weeks. 💌 International letters typically take 7-21 business days to arrive, but can take up to 45 business days.
The price of the letter includes the price of the postage!
International:
When you fill out your Backerkit survey after the campaign, you will receive an extra $2 shipping fee to cover the cost of the expensive international postage, ensuring your letter arrives safely!

To keep prices low, traditional snail mail does not come with a tracking number.
If you would like to pay extra for your letters to have tracking, please message me and I we can get that sorted on an individual basis. Please know that tracking requires updating letters to parcels, and therefore tracking would cost anywhere from $5 domestic to $25 international (this is why snail mail is so great, even if it doesn't have tracking!). Unless you contact me to specifically request an upgrade for tracking, letters will not come with tracking!
Emily McCosh is a graphic designer and writer of strange things. She currently lives in California with her two parents, one tree swing, and innumerable characters who need to learn some manners. Her short fiction has appeared in Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Shimmer, Galaxy’s Edge, Flash Fiction Online, Nature: Futures, and elsewhere.
She is the author of over a dozen novels and novellas, the most recent of which is Willowsblade, coming October 2026.
No AI of any kind has been used in the writing or illustrating of these letters. I write and edit in Scrivener, and use Grammarly to check typos (and never let it rewrite any of my sentences). I create the illustrations myself in Photoshop, and format the letters in InDesign. ❤️
