Project Update: Achievements Unlocked plus Interviews and Actual Play!
Today marks week 3 of the campaign. We've crossed over $200,000 and unlocked all four achievements to bump up our core book contributors' pay! That means we'll be doubling the money promised for their hard work. Thank you for enabling us to reach this milestone.
With just 9 days left, it's time to rally your friends to get on board and share the excitement for Girl By Moonlight.
In line with that train of thought, here's a roundup of links to recent interviews, actual plays, and more:
- Every backer gets the full rules when they pledge, but if your friends want to try before they buy we've posted an extensive 50-page preview on DriveThruRPG which highlights the themes and rules of Girl By Moonlight. It's 100% free.
- Over at their YouTube channel, Andrew does a walk-through of the game and answers questions sent in by fans.
- The Pixel Circus has posted all four episodes of their Girl By Moonlight actual play, "In The Name Of..." Check out part one, part two, part three, and the epic finale right here on YouTube.
- Andrew chats with Craig of Third Floor Wars in this podcast episode: What is a "Magical Girl" RPG?
- They also sit down and talk GBM for the Go Fund This podcast.
- Finally Allison Arth invites Andrew on for a chill, far-ranging conversation about creative practice, inspiration, and more on this episode of Little Oracles.
So if you're not already busy planning your new Girl By Moonlight series, there's plenty of inside insight about the game you can delve into. (And we didn't even mention the previous articles and interviews we highlighted in Update 3!)
The support for this game has been truly astonishing. Thank you. We hope you're having fun reading the backer PDF and will share the campaign with your friends as we surge ever higher toward the end of the crowdfunding phase!
