Canadian Customers
It took me an extra day (because my life is a circus and I'm the ringmaster) but the postal rates for Canada have been added and Canada is off the exclusion list, so you should be able to complete your surveys or make preorders.  If you experience problems, please let me know.

Btw, a few folks need to update their payment info (I think there were 15 of you, we're down to 6 now). We lost about $750 in declined cards (which is a lot more than I expected.)  In many cases it's likely just an expired card, but please take care of it asap.

Book Format Changes
One small additional announcement. Thanks to the bonus (stretch) content and the additional art, this book is a chonker. The standard (softcover) edition ended up being too big to use  asaddle-stitched (aka stapled) format, so rather than change the layout, we're upgrading it to Perfect Bound (so there will be a spine).  FOr a book of his size, I think it's a better option anyway, so I'm pretty happy about it.  I ordered physical proofs today, so I expect to receive those late next week.

Also, if you're getting hit with winter storms, be careful and stay warm. We're expecting snow here for the first time in a very long time, so of course everyone is losing their minds.

Hey everyone,

Great news! Shipping from US to Canada has resumed. That's awesome. Give me a day to add in Canadian postal rates (I couldn't even look them up until now) and I'll send out another update when it's ready for Canadian Backers / Preorders.

For those of you who have already completed your surveys, those have been locked and cards will get charged today.

Hi everyone,

I'm going to lock orders here soon. You'll get an email saying something like you have 48 hours to make changes. That's not the same as locking addresses, so don't worry.

The preorder store will remain open for now, and if you are in Canada don't worry. I can reopen surveys once the Post Office is accepting shipments to Canada again. Which I hope is soon.

Once the orders are locked, THEN I can release the PDFs. SO at least you'll have something to look at while waiting for your books.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick update that the Preorder Store AND the surveys are still open.

As of today (12/27/24) The US Postal Service still has not resumed shipping to Canada and at this point it's looking like it might be another week or two.

No cards have been charged. That doesn't happen until we lock the orders.

So I'm leaving the preorder store and the surveys open, BUT I think I have a close enough count on the books that I can go ahead and make the order. Once the shipping opens up, and I can calculate the prices, I'll give the Canadian backers a few days to get their surveys in, then I'll lock everything down.
