Hello! I'm Ash. I'm an illustrator and designer living in Massachusetts. I run my own online shop Flea Circus where I sell my original designs as pins, stickers, plushies, & more!

Years ago I launched a campaign for a lil plush pigeon friend, Poe Egglesworth! It reached way over my initial goal with the support of 600 backers and I've been able to make tons of new Poe goodies and even started a monthly pin club.

Poe is a tribute to an ill baby pigeon that I raised several years ago.  He grew up to be a strong and healthy boy and is now living in a gigantic aviary with over 40 pigeons, and even got paired up with a lady bird :> I'm so happy that he can live his life in safety but I do miss him very much. 

I've always been fond of pigeons and while deciding a name for this character it just felt right to give him the same name of that sweet baby bird that I raised! 

Poe is now an ambassador for Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions! We've been working closely with them and by reaching the goal for this project we'll be able to continue growing and supporting all the great work they do <3

And Karl?

Karl does not have a real world counterpart... But he is Poe's best friend! He's a spicy bean and he doesn't let his cumbersome shape stop him from doing anything.

Karl Haywardton (a combination of hayward kiwis, and one of my favorite humans, Karl Pilkington) was born when I participated in an art challenge on instagram. A silly kiwi resulted and I needed to do more about it.
