In the meantime, get ready for the Character Tools by updating your pledge with Free League Unbound add-ons as a great way to help reach the next stretch goal!
Thank you for your support!
You just smashed the final stretch goal we had unlocked – a new detailed map of Bree, painted by Francesco Mattioli, will be a full spread in the updated core rules. The map is also now available as a cloth map add-on, ready to be added to your pledge. Thank you for your support!
Also, we have now revealed a new stretch goal: bonus rules for Cultural Rewards. If we reach this goal, we will add this feature to the updated core rules. Cultural Rewards are specific improvements, typical of the traditions of each folk. A Player-hero may spend a Fellowship Phase at home to gain a Cultural Reward as their next Reward, or to replace one of their Rewards with a Cultural Reward.
Keep the momentum up and we'll reach the next goal too!

Hello!
We hope you all had a very nice weekend, planning your future adventures in Gondor, Rohan and beyond!
Today, we're happy to announce that we can now offer a number of new hotly requested add-ons. All of the below are now possible to add to your pledge:
- Eriador Cloth Map
- Shire Cloth Map
- Moria – Through the Doors of Durin Collector's Edition
- Moria – Shadow of Khazad-dûm 5E Collector's Edition
- The One Ring Black Dice Set
Please note that all of these are limited in number, as they are stock remaining from previous crowdfunding campaigns and will not be reprinted – so don't delay if you want these collector's items!
On another note, quite a few 5E backers have noted with some disappointment that the Gondor-themed engraved custom dice set stretch goals was only for The One Ring. We have now remedied that and added a full set of Gondor-themed transparent polyhedral dice for The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying 5E – including two d20s engraved with the Rune of Gandalf and the Eye of Sauron. One such dice set is now included in each physical 5E bundle, and additional sets are available as add-ons.
Keep the momentum going and we'll reach the final stretch goal we have currently lined up – a new detailed map of Bree, painted by Francesco Mattioli. If we unlock this goal, the map will be a full spread in the updated core rules, and made available as a cloth map add-on.
Thank you for your support!

We hope you're having a great weekend. We just wanted to let you know that yet another stretch goal has been unlocked, a digital compilation of art collected from all of the compendia in this campaign. Thank you for your support! In total, no less than 14 stretch goals have now been unlocked – check them out below!
Just one more stretch goal remains the current lineup – a new, detailed map on Bree added to the Core Rules manual. Let's go get it!

Hello!
We're almost 48 hours into the campaign, and the support has far exceeded our expectations – which were already quite high, as we know what a great community there is for The One Ring and The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying out there. Thank you so much!
Since our last update, two more stretch goals have been unlocked: the The Tower Of Triumph bonus Landmark and the Setting Up Camp bonus rules. Next up is a digital art compilation and a new detailed map of Bree painted by Francesco Mattioli, to be added as a full page or full spread in the updated Core Rules manual, and made a available as a separate cloth map.
Lets keep the momentum going and we'll reach those too!
On another note, some backers have requested separate pledge levels for the new Collector's Editions volumes, and we're happy to oblige – these have now been added to the mix.

Hello again!
We're amazingly grateful and humbled by your great support for this project, which is off to a great start. Thank you!
As the initial stretch goals were unlocked quicker than we could imagine, we have now added five more goals, trying to strike a good balance between what has been requested and what is doable without jeopardizing the timeline of the entire project. This is what we have lined up:
- Second Cloth Ribbon in Collector’s Editions – already unlocked!
- Bonus Landmark: The Tower Of Triumph, to be added to the Gondor/Rohan expansion: In Umbar there stands a black tower, and it is full of eyes. It is there that the seers and sorcerers of the city keep watch upon Gondor, and work many dark designs. Nothing happens in Umbar without their notice.
- Bonus Rules: Setting Up Camp. If we reach this goal, optional rules for setting up camp in the Wild will be added to the Revised Core Rules. Designed to complement rather than replace the Journey rules, they can be used to enliven shorter traveling sequences, or whenever the Company’s choice of campsite and preparations for the night are likely to matter. When the Company stops for the night in the Wild, the players may use the Combat diagram to show how the Player-heroes prepare their camp.
- Digital Art Compilation. If we reach this goal, and extensive digital compilation of the amazing art from this project will be share with all backers at no additional cost.
- Bree Map in the Core Rules. If we reach this goal, a new detailed map of the village of Bree, painted by Francesco Mattioli, will be included in the revised Core Rules manual. The chief village of the Bree-land is the Company’s first Safe Haven: a place where its members may find rest and respite, meet at the sign of the Prancing Pony, and prepare for journeys into the Wild. The map brings its streets, gates, and landmarks to life.
Let's keep the momentum going and we'll reach these goals too!

I think Free League knows how much we all love Francesco Mattioli's artwork and how crazy we've all been as a community over all the cloth maps. Plus, a little reprint of the Eriador and Shire cloth maps can't hurt, right... What do the rest of you in the Community think?

...but my wife is keen on getting more adventures like the Shire Adventures aka Hobbit Tales. She loves the tone and low stakes fun. They're also great for our young kids, who have fallen in love with TOR while tramping about the Shire. Obviously, the more serious adventures are important too (I love Hands in particular), but the nearest we've had since was Palace of the Sea-Birds...is there any chance of some more Hobbit adventures?
