Updates

Hello again friends!  

I am excited to let you know that pin production has finished and I hope to have the pins to me by the end of the month.  

Once I have them I still need to give them a look over for quality control and packaging before I can start shipping them out to their new homes, but there is light at the end of the tunnel now!

Because I now have conformation that the production is completed, I will be locking oreders in the pledge manager and charging cards this week.

Below are my six favorite photos from my production partner.  Please excuse the factory lighting, poor photo quality and overall unglamorousness of these pictures, as their purpose truly is just to show me that they didn't make any major mistakes, haha.

Hello again friends, 

I received word from my rep at my production partner that the pins will be done in the next week or two here, but there might be a minor delay in shipping them to me.  My rep has an immediate family member pass away, so now someone else there will need to oversee the quality control, packing and shipping to me.  They said it shouldn't add any more than 10 days to the whole process, but I am not expecting to have these in hand until the end of the month.  

While I am a little sad about the delay for the pins, I think I would be more sad if I had a loved one pass, so I am doing my best to extend grace and set my expectations accordingly.  I have a long relationship with this particular production partner, so I have no reason to think they are being anything but genuine.  

I am hoping they send me some photos before the end of the month though, so once I get those I will be sure to pass them along in another update.

I was hoping that I would have actual news for you, but instead I am sending another no news is good news update.  

Here's hoping that by sending this out it is a positive jinx to get an update from my production partner, or better yet, a shipping date!

Hello again!  

I just wanted to reach out to make sure you know that I haven't forgotten about you!

I have no updates for you, but this is good news.  My production partner can typically take up to two months to complete large orders like this one, and have only ever contacted me early if there is an issue that needs to be resolved.  So for me, no news is good news!

If I should hear anything I will be sure to let you all know, but for now we are all just patiently waiting for the pins to be produced.

Hello again!

I wanted to let you know that I have placed the production order for the pins for this campaign!

Now we sit patiently and wait for a while.  It can take up to two months for very large orders like this to be produced, so I truly appreciate your support as we wait for thousands of pins to be crafted.  

I will periodically send out updates to let you know I haven't forgotten about you, but expect a few of them to be 'no new news' kind of updates.  

I do not typically charge cards for shipping and add-ons until I am closer to the shipping date, but if you WANT me to charge your card earlier please let me know and I can manually trigger it.
