This was an unexpected project for 2025. It started out as a simple question in December of 2024 to my youngest son. I asked him what I should draw. I was expecting him to name an animal or a vehicle but he said the alphabet!
He did not want me to write it, or type it out. He wanted me to DRAW it. And thus began a weeks long adventure of designing our own font, line be line. When we had finally finished I asked him if we should do anything else with the finished alphabet. We decided to decorate each letter but he shot down all of my ideas, including black cats, haha.
"Mommy likes flowers." he told me. It seemed he had a specific audience in mind. ♥
And so we decorated each letter with elegant white flowers, leaves and vines.
I thought we were done until he said he couldn't wait to see them as pins...
So here we are, crowdfunding a beautiful set of floral alphabet pins. Love letters from a young boy to his Mommy. But I think he will be pretty excited to hear about how many other people enjoy them as well.
I have designed all of these elegant alphabet pins, but having so many pins produced can get pretty expensive. That's where Crowdfunding by Backerkit comes in.

You pledge money to this campaign, then when the campaign is over BackerKit collects the money from you and gives it to me. I then use that money to pay my production partner to make the pins. Then when I receive the finished pins I inspect them for quality, package them up, and ship them out to you!
It can take a while for all of that to happen, but at the end of it we have brought something awesome into the world that didn't exist before.
And in the case of these pins I really hope it does well because I have already paid to have the molds for the pins made, LOL.
