Project Update: Pledge Managers Opening Soon!
Hello, Maggots!
Violet from RV Games will be opening the pledge managers for Starships & Soldiers within the next week or so! Keep an eye out in your inboxes and spam folders for invites to the pledge manager, and we will be sure to send out another reminder when it goes live officially!
We hope you all had a tremendous break and a great January! The road to the release of Starships & Soldiers may be long, but it will be done SOON!

Project Update: Printing Update
Good day recruits! And a happy Christmas to you!
Just wanted to keep all you backers in the loop: unfortunately, personal events combined with logistics have led to a delay in printing both A Secret Cord and Starships & Soldiers.
Is this a bummer? Absolutely.
Is this something we can fix? Most definitely.
The timeline has unfortunately been delayed, but rest assured, we will get both projects printed as soon as physically possible. As we have told our HyperMall backers: it is never an if, it is a when.
We apologize for the delay, but we do wish you all a happy holidays and a good wind-down of 2025!

Project Update: Keeping You in the Loop
G'day, maggots! A little update just so you know that things are moving!
- Starships & Soldiers is printing this November to save money by printing alongside A Secret Chord. This means we will likely be fulfilling in the new year of 2026 to avoid shipping surcharges due to Christmas.
- The game will be linked to your DriveThruRPG and itch.io accounts once the pledge manager is up and running! Until then, if you missed it, the link is in the Backer Only section below!
- We are also be providing a white-backed printer-friendly variant of S&S below!
- Violet's small-unit wargame rules and the grid-paper battlefield will be released soon, but we don't have a timeframe for it yet. We are hoping for end of Q4 2025/beginning of Q1 2026.
- I know that this time of year is hinky because...well, Christmas and all that, but we will get you S&S as soon as we physically can. Hopefully it will ship with our other project - Graveyard of the Gods - UNEARTHED - and save some shipping costs, but we shall see.
Thank you again for all your patience, and we hope you have already started implementing rules from S&S into your current Mothership games! We will keep you in the loop as best we can!

Project Update: Printing Update and PDF
HELLO MAGGOTS!
Good to see you all bright and shining and ready for an ass-kicking! We're here to do some general housekeeping regarding Starships & Soldiers.
Printing
Printing will be done in roughly November alongside RV Games's A Secret Cord. This is being done to reduce the overall cost of printing both games, AND avoiding tariffs from you-know-who. Violet is working diligently on mini-wargaming ground-combat rules for S&S, which will be included in the final release.
Pledge Manager
The Pledge Manager will be forthcoming in the next month or so, as we want to minimize the time delay between the release of the manager and the printing/shipping of the products. Plenty of other campaigns have opened up their pledge managers years in advance of their release, and paid the price (literally) in inflated shipping costs.
The PDF
While the delayed pledge manager means there will be a delay in the OFFICIAL release of the supplement...well, you guys still get to see it in its pre-printed format! Attached to this update in the Backers Only section below will be a Google Drive link to the Starships & Soldiers PDF. Once the pledge manager has been opened and emails taken, the PDF will be uploaded to your itch.io and DriveThruRPG libraries as well. Until then, keep this link handy!

Project Update: DONE!
Starships & Soldiers has just received its final art, which means the supplement is DONE!
So, what's next?
- In the coming weeks, Violet will open the pledge manager, allowing you all to finish completing your surveys, and then receiving the PDFs of the supplement!
- The double-sided laminated posters are currently being printed now. In just a few days, the files for the zine will be sent to printing, and once that begins, we can officially start opening the pledge manager above.
- As soon as ALL surveys are complete, you will receive Starships & Soldiers PDFs on both itch.io and DTRPG.
- Yes, we know that itch.io is in a strange sort of limbo right now. That's why we're offering it on both DTRPG AND itch.
- With the temporary tattoos finished as well, once the printing of both the zines and the posters is complete, kitting and shipping can then begin!
Overall, this has been such a wonderful experience. The support seen on this supplement has done wonders for invigorating the Hammer City Games team, and we thank you all for your efforts and support. We hope you all enjoy this supplement once its sent out to you, or at the very least enjoy picking it apart for the cool bits to make your Mothership games that much more chaotic!
