PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Stretch Goal 1 Reached!
Good day everyone!
And with that, we have reached $25,000 in funding, meaning we have reached Stretch Goal #1! The game's Appendix will contain rules for playing as Demigods (allowing you to experience more "hard mode" Sagas), Sleeping Gods (giving players a prologue-style beginning as they play as mortals before they become Young Gods) and Apotheots (allowing you to play a "villain" Saga)! We want to thank everyone for contributing to and believing in this project, and getting to this threshold is a HUGE milestone!
Now, on to $35,000 and the first physical stretch goal: DICE!

Project Update: FUNDED + Deus sold out!
Gooood evening everyone!
We at Hammer City Games want to thank you all for your help in bringing Young Gods to life! We know that it maybe isn't a game that is visually for everyone, but every artist who worked on this project is THRILLED to have their particular styles and work in something professional, and the feedback we have been receiving from many backers (and early pre-release purchasers) is overwhelming. Thank you again for helping us reach out funding goal in 48 hours, and now, all there is to do is see just how many people we can bring this to!
As well, I would like to say that the Deus tier of pledge is completely sold out! It's honestly super cool to see, and we are very excited to work with those backers to bring their ideas to life within Young Gods!
So, what is next? Well, at $25,000 we will unlock some additional content and playable character types, and then at $35,000, we are making dice baybeee! Custom d12s!

Project Update: Reservations Open!
Hello everyone!
We wanted to send out an update to inform everyone of the Pre-Launch Reservation System that Young Gods has! If you have followed the project, you can reserve a spot with $5 CAD, ensuring that you get exclusive rewards from the campaign without needing to rememeber to back within the first 48 hours. This also helps us ensure we have plenty of support in the most important opening days of the campaign.
We have a lot planned for this game when it comes to stretch goals and incentives, and we hope you are all likewise excited to see this project grow and evolve soon after launch on April 14th!

Project Update: Launching April 14th!
Hello followers of Young Gods!
What a wacky couple of months we've had, huh? Young Gods first launched its pre-release just as the NSFW ban hammer hit both Steam and itch.io, but even so, we've been chugging along! Artists from across the world have contributed to this game, and wonderful, wonderful people have helped us shape the game into what it is now. Overall, we are VERY confident that Young Gods will not just fund, but go above and beyond! We are still working out the details for possible stretch goals (we don't want to have TOO many moving parts), but we are still excited to get this out to you!
So, below are some bits of info for you all, to help you prepare for the launch:

So, below are some bits of info for you all, to help you prepare for the launch:
- We are launching the crowdfunding campaign April 14th, 2026. We are doing this because we want to ensure we can get much of our other projects out the door and/or printed and ready for distribution. We don't want any other projects hanging over out heads while we prepare this one.
- At the current moment, the game is undergoing rigorous playtesting to ensure it is ready to put out as soon as possible.
- On that note, Young Gods has a current page count of 278 pages. We are still expanding and writing Chapter 8, but for your knowledge, you will be backing a game that is 85% done writing, and 70% done art-wise. We know what it's like backing a project that takes years to finish, and let us at Hammer City Games tell you: we are getting this done by March of 2027 at the latest.
- All eligible followers who pre-pledge the project OR back within the first 48 hours will be guaranteed a free poster of one of Mister69M's massive art pieces. The size of the poster will increase as people back, to a maximum size of 24 x 36 inches. We hope this is a good incentive, and we are wanting the community to help vote for which poster is to be printed!
That's all at the moment, everyone. We will be sure to give you more information as this develops, but let us tell you we are VERY excited to launch this project, and we think you will all love it, too!
