Project Update: Moving On To Layout
Greetings everyone! I’ve completed Argumentation in its rough form, and turned over my final version to graphic designer (and backer) Nicholas Ambrose to begin the layout process. After doing some research, I added two more Framing cards: Afrocentric History and Women’s History. Additionally, I’ve added more Question cards, replacing a half-dozen existing questions I felt to be more like “placeholders” than quality, thought provoking historical inquiries. As soon as Nic is finished I will share the print-and-play version. Then we’ll order a proof to make certain nothing is wrong and move straight to printing. At that time if I understand the Backerkit system correctly I’ll contact each of you individually about shipping costs.
Thank you again for your support and patience as we work out the final steps of this project.

Project Update: Moving Forward
Greetings everyone! I'm going to move forward to creating the final version of Argumentation: A game about how history works as rapidly as possible now, so that when the funds become available through Backerkit I can order a proof quickly. I will keep you updated as progress on the final version moves forward. Thank you as always for your support.

Project Update: Whoo Hoo! We're Funded!
I know I keep saying this, but I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Argumentation is a project near and dear to my heart, and I am eager for it to become a physical object in the world that each of you can hold in your hand and play with your friends. I plan on making that happen as soon as possible.
In the meantime, if you have any suggestions for the remaining cards, I would very much like to hear them. New Questions about history are of course welcome; but I would also love to hear about additional historical Frames that could go into the final version. In particular, new ways of understanding history that come from non-Western cultures, and information about those who helped to conceptualize them.
So if you have any suggestions, please send them to [email protected]. I'm going to give everyone a week to send them in, then move rapidly into producing (and sharing) the final version of the game. And thank you again.
