Hey friends!

Fun update for you guys today! I've received photos of half-complete samples from my manufacturer for the books & dirty talk pins. Half-complete means that they have made a sample of the pin without any plating or screenprinting to check the enamel colors before pushing designs to the mass production phase. So please keep that in mind when looking at these! They're not done yet.

I'm really excited about how they're looking so far! However, there are a handful of them that I've requested color adjustments for.

I will be adjusting the colors on the following pins:

All of the rest of the pins have been approved, and my rep has moved them to the mass production phase! 

The candy hearts pins are being made by a different company (trying to branch out a little!), and I have not yet received any updates from them. I've been informed that workers on China are currently on holiday until May 6th, so I think I'll ask if they have any updates after that date. I'll share photos if/when I'm able to!

Hey guys!

First off, I wanted to notify you that I have a proper contact email now for inquiries going forward! If you have questions or concerns about your order, please email me directly at [email protected]. I don't have to route people to my shop's contact form anymore! Yay!

It's been over a month now since I sent out surveys, which I feel is ample time to give y'all to fill them out. So, I started the process of locking them. You will have the next 48 hours to make any changes to your orders before they are locked.

If you don't need to make any changes to your survey, you're good! No need for you to take action. If you want to make any changes though (adding/removing add-ons, changing which rewards you want to receive, etc) then please make sure you make those changes in the next 48 hours before your order locks.

This step will only lock in your order items. You will still be able to edit your address at your leisure.

Since I'm still not sure what the tariff situation is going to look like, I would like to wait to charge you guys for shipping & survey add-ons until closer to when I'm ready to ship your items. Just to be clear, this isn't because I plan on changing shipping costs - I promise I won't! It's only because I don't want to charge you all now, and then potentially have you wait even longer for fulfillment when I don't know how long it'll take at this point.

However, if you'd prefer to have your card charged around now instead of waiting, please let me know. You can let me know by contacting me directly at my email [email protected].

Note: If you want to have your cards charged now, it won't be until after surveys lock about 2 days from now.

I also wanted to drop a quick note that the candy hearts pins have been ordered, and the rest of the pins (books, speech bubbles, extras) will be ordered probably tonight, so they will finally be going into production very soon! 

As for the rest of the items (bookmarks, misc printables), those will be produced and shipped to me very quickly, so I haven't put the orders in yet, but I'm hoping to do that within the next week or two.

Hey guys!

Yesterday I announced that I was locking surveys, and I had a few people who used Pay Over Time message me with concerns about getting their orders in before then.

I apologize for not including this in yesterday's update, but surveys locking does not apply to Pay Over Time backers.

Only the surveys that have been submitted to me will be locked; this just means that the surveys that I already have will be locked and those backers won't be able to change/add/remove items from their already-submitted survey.

POT Backers, you will receive your survey once your order is paid in full. You'll be able to fill it out and add as many add-ons as you wish at that time. After you submit your survey, that's when I'll lock your orders in. There's no need to rush to get your final payments in or try to add more items now.

I hope this clears things up, and sorry for the confusion!

Hey friends. I'm here with an update, unfortunately it's not a super happy one.

As I'm sure you may have seen/heard, there's a bit of a situation going on: tariffs. The president has been enacting and threatening tariffs on goods coming in from out of the country, upwards of a possible combined 104% tariff on goods coming from China.

As you may or may not know, pretty much all pins are manufactured and produced in China. This includes 100% of my pins. This means that all the pins I'm making now may be subject to a 104% tariff, which effectively doubles the original cost I had budgeted for all the pins I planned to produce both for this campaign and my other campaign that just ended (Cryptid Crushes).

As you can imagine, this is...not ideal. It's not sustainable for me, even a little bit, nor is it sustainable for other artist producing products; this isn't limited to just pins, but it extends to other products produced in China like keychains, bags, plushies, and so much more.

The good news for you, the backers: I will not be charging you more for shipping or charging more for the pins you already paid for. I don't feel it's fair for me to pass down that cost to you guys when you already had set expectations for these pins.

However, I do want to be upfront that if these tariffs do in fact go through tomorrow, there may be some delays in fulfillment. I am going to talk to my manufacturer and see if once the pins are done being made, they can hold onto the pins for a while to wait and see if the situation improves and try to find a window of opportunity to have them shipped to me with as low possibility for high tariffs as possible.

I'm really sorry about this, I wish I had more control over this situation but alas, a single person like me can only do so much in this situation. If you want to help support me and other artists, you can take a few minutes to find how to contact your state representatives and senators and send them a message asking them to fight to prevent these tariffs from going into place.

I wish I had a happier update for you guys. Alas...😩
