I have great news: all orders that have paid up are now in transit to you (or have already arrived in some cases)! Here is a totally authentic (not staged at all!) photo of me dropping off a big batch of orders at USPS.

We're excited for you all to receive your orders and hope you love everything as much as we do! You should have received an email with a tracking number. If you did not or if you have any issues with the items you receive, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll get you all fixed up.

Remaining Items & Final Reward Deadline

We inventoried most of the remaining items and plan to re-open the pre-order store on April 22nd in case you missed ordering anything or decide everyone you know should have a chonky bear beanie. We'll announce it here when the store reopens.

If you haven't yet filled out the survey or your payment errored, we would love to get the issue resolved so you can get your rewards! We can't hold onto inventory forever, though, so you have until July 2, 2025 to resolve any outstanding issues. After July 2nd, we will consider your pledge a donation without rewards and we will close out the project.

We have great news—the beanies have arrived and they are absolutely fabulous! We asked our pal Carrie to test one out and it was so cozy that they almost went into hibernation for the next four years. 🐻

All joking aside, we are ready to ship everything out! I'm flying to Carrie's this Friday (where all of your goodies are currently residing) and we'll get to work. I've already created an animal-themed playlist to get us moving and grooving while we pack orders. Soon these bears will be in your hands! We can't wait to hear what you think.

What's Next for Honey Scamps

With this project about to wrap up fulfillment, we're already planning what's next. We hope you'll join us for one or both of these upcoming projects—there will be freebies involved!

In April, Carrie is launching Void Cats with adorable pins, stickers & more for lovers of black cats.

And on May 1st, we are joining BackerKit's Tarotopia event to launch our first divination deck, a 65-card National Parks Oracle Deck.

Ahh, where did the time go! It feels as though the political hellscape has been gobbling up our bandwidth—in full transparency, we're now also dividing our time between community organizing and civic actions to protect ourselves, our children, and our community. 

We're still pressing forward and staying as close as possible to our originally estimated fulfillment timeline. Our manufacturers both local and overseas have continued to be excellent partners.

In brief:

The beanies look SO DANG CUTE (even in this quick un-color-corrected snapshot of the sample from the manufacturer) and we cannot wait for you all to see them in person!

This week we're finalizing our shipping plans and getting everything loaded into the pledge manager for fulfillment, and we'll be locking addresses on Friday 2/28.

We'll process the shipping charges next week and expect to start mailing out orders that do not have a beanie (about 3/4 of you!) in mid- to late March. Once the beanies are in, we'll get those shipped out to the remaining batch of backers.

Happy new year, all! I've been enjoying taking some time off, doing a lot of baking and catching up on all my streaming shows. After an extremely busy 2024, a slower holiday season was just what I needed.

We have an exciting updates. The Chonky Bears pins and stickers have all been manufactured and are currently en route!

Cards have been charged for those of you who completed the survey. We had intended to wait until the new year and let everyone know ahead of time, but my finger hit the button before my brain registered what was happening! (I am a person who can't resist playing whack-a-mole with notification flags...) I am so sorry for any inconvenience caused.
