An enamel pin collection celebrating the many different deer species around the world. From the spotted sika deer of Japan to the toothy musk deer of the Himalayas, this project has them all!
Hey there! I'm Jon, the artist and owner of Honeydoe Designs. I'm a US-based naturalist, artist, and lover of all things animals. This is my second Pintopia and third pin fundraiser.
As my name suggests, I absolutely adore deer. Their goofy behavior, soft eyes, and beautiful antlers hold a special place in my heart. Their flightly behavior and tendency to stare for way longer than comfortable reminds them of myself, so it was only fitting to dedicate my Pintopia campaign to them. Not only are deer amazing, there's so many different species throughout the world! The bowing sika deer of Japan, the fun sized brockets of South America, and the imposing Barbary Stag of Africa are all so fascinating in their own unique ways.
By pledging, you'll be helping me make these pins a reality! The initial goal is $700 to unlock the first two designs. New designs will be unlocked the more we raise! I also have vinyl stickers of all the designs and washi tape for those who want a sticker option.

All returning backers and those who back within 48 hours will receive a free vinyl sticker to thank you for your continued support! These stickers can also be purchased as an add-on. I am also partnering with Kai of Floating Frogs' campaign Derpy Herpetology! They make some absolutely adorable reptile and amphibian pins!
If both of our projects reach their funding goal, backers who support both of our campaigns will receive two free pins designed by both of us!
Both pins are hard enamel and gold plated! The fawn will be roughly 1.25" and the gecko will be roughly 1.5" ✨
I'm a member of the Pin Safari Banner, a group of wildlife inspired Pintopia campaigns bringing you even more free stuff! If you back atleast 3 Pin Safari campaigns, you'll get a free sticker from each campaign backed! The stickers are inspired by polaroid photos with hand written notes below each "photo." They can be displayed separately or together to show your Pintopia journey! Oh Deer features an adorable sleeping fawn.

At $3,500 raised, I will be creating alternative pin recolors of all EIGHT Oh Deer pins! These will be available in addition to the previous pins, so y'all can take home a normal fella OR a weird white guy. Or both!
Due to some workplace nepotism, the albino white tailed deer is available to everyone and does NOT need to be unlocked!
Any of the unlocked Oh Deer enamel pins can be added as an add-on, as well as the Early Bird Sticker and Returning Backer Sticker. Cross collaboration pins and the Pin Safari sticker are NOT available as add-ons.
Stickers
All designs are also available as vinyl stickers! Each sticker will be roughly 2.5" and waterproof to be placed wherever your heart desires. Each design is modified slightly with small color changes, shading, and details to ensure they pop! All designs are available and do not need to be unlocked! You can purchase them separatelyas an add-on or buy the whole set with a Sticker Pack! Sticker packs are both a tier and an add-on. The fallow deer, Barbary stag, and Siberian musk deer have different sticker art featuring flowers! These were originally pin designs, but due to their smaller details I was unable to make them into pins. They look amazing as stickers though!
Washi Tape
In addition to vinyl stickers, I also have two washi tape designs available! These feature deer tracks through the soft snow and a muddy path. Each design comes in a roll that is 20mm by 10m in length to be used in plenty of scrapbooks, planners, and journals!
All shipping fees will be charged separately AFTER the campaign has ended, they are not included in your pledge total. International orders may have extra fees or tariffs applied by your country that may have to be paid upon arrival. The following numbers are estimates only and are subject to change.
