For AU/NZ backers, I sent an email with your tracking number (Auspost), yesterday which might not be active until Monday! There are a few AU packages waiting for tracking numbers, but those will be sent once the post office is back to buisness hours :)

Dream Projects: All purpose lil pigeons for the convenience of a tap and coo, made as a travel companion and to make searching for your ticket less of a scramble in the wallet Remember those funny bird socks on the internet? What if, that idea was expanded? Stomp with the audacity of a seagull, STEPPA with the finesse of an Australasian Swamphen, Wear the legs of different birds in knee highs and in crew length, to wear the bird within you. I found a company that is OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified, and they offer a specific blend of pure organic cotton/wool! I was wondering what people think about this idea, as it is a fairly expensive stretch to unlock but as someone who is allergic to acrylic and polyester, I want people with similar allergies to be able to access beautiful socks without risking hives or itching. No link on this one as it's still WIP and there's TRIBUTES to work on :') but feel free to shoot me an email or comment and I can keep you in the loop! Let me know what birds you want to see and wear.

Doodle here with another update, some chaos from the shipping side of things (HS codes and customs and...not fun stuff) but I have all international backers (not Aus or NZ) on the way to FleaCircusDesigns! Solo orders based in Aus or NZ, I am shipping out the ones I am certain are not cross-collabs first, but double checking and working with FleaCircus to make sure nothing has been missed.
Hopefully they are shipped with no problems, and everyone will get their orders soon :) You might notice on your end it hasn't been marked as shipped - I am working with Backerkit on it right now, as I shipped it all within one parcel and don't have a way to automatically update everyone's status on backerkit.

Hi everyone! Awesome update, your fulfilments have arrived, they are all currently being graded. I plan to lock addresses soon, so make sure everything is up to date! There are still a few backers who have not done their surveys or paid, this is the final call out, this will be the last opportunity after making reminders.

As for shipping stuff: FOR US/CA BACKERS For most of you, it will cost approximately $6.91 USD for shipping! If anyone ordered the awebo, it will be approximately $12.43 USD just due to the size of the boxes being shipped together will be a fair bit larger.
Aus and NZ backers have their prices set from when they are being shipped from me, the charges from FleaCircus are based on the cost for her to ship to me! AU will pay approximately $11.5 on average while NZ will pay $15 on average (AUD, not USD)
Local Pickup is also an option, I tried to make it free but it doesn't allow it ._. sorry for the 10c I will be at Colourful Minds at Castle Hill RSL on May 17th! Just a heads up that surveys will be locked soon, thank you for the amount of backers filling out their surveys! There's still a few people who haven't done it yet, but if you want to make any final changes before the surveys are locked, be sure to do so! Don't stress about addresses or shipping, as that will be addressed post-survey!
The current survey results are interesting! People appear to love the Budgie and Barking Owl from the original Brids of Australia! The crested pigeon and cassowary also evenly match out!
Besides that, I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to see the surveys being sent in! Manufacturing is in progress and I'm excited to see how they turn out!
Hi everyone, Doodle here! Thank you for making my project a reality! For those who unpledged but want the Early Bird and weren't sure if they'd get it if they came back, the Worm has returned! Just comment on this update and I will include the early bird on your order as a thank you for your pledges :) You still have time to also add anything onto your orders, with the main line unlocked and steady progress into unlocking the next pin!
To both celebrate 350 followers and the success of this project, there is a live giveaway pinned on my Instagram that will close on 1/4/2026 at 11:59 pm AEDT!
Then a little bit about a future project, mainly to let people vote while this is still active! It will probably take a few months to a year to organize something a bit more formal for this project (this one took 3 months to build, whew!), the art is not finalized at all but I would love to see what people think and vote for to see if any particular birds capture people's whimsy
(also for wallet reasons this will be way down the line but ambition got to me and I already made the launching page-)
And then a few other things: A few things need to happen before we can commence production and fulfillment:
1. Backerlit needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to two weeks).
2. An earlier update around affordable shipping was posted recently, at the point of funds being collected, a survey will be sent out to everyone to start planning with FleaCircus the most affordable way to fulfil everyone's orders! Estimates were calculated in that update, but note that these are ESTIMATES and variations due to duties, taxes and tariffs may still unexpectedly influence the final cost of shipment. 3. I'll give you a heads-up before sending the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards. 4. If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on the BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.) 5. Answering your survey help us get your rewards out to you faster. For me it's a difficult choice, as I love pretty much all Australian birds, but I might have to go with the Superb Fairywren. Very close contenders are the Budgerigar, Rainbow Bee Eater, and Regent Honeyeater. 💕
