Hello wonderful backers! Just a quick update regarding shipping - we've currently packed and shipped almost 3/4th of all orders which is mostly composed of USA and UK backers. The last quarter will be packed and shipped within the next two weeks which means by end July everyone should have received their pledge rewards!
All shipping is via Royal Mail UK, except EU backer packages which are being shipped by Maltapost to comply with GPSR regulations.
Reminder - if you had a bigger pack (ie more than 5 pins (which equates to orders above approx £40 or have ordered an Etching) you will received a tracking number for your order. If this hasn't come by email it will be available on backerkit itself once the package is marked fullfilled on our end).

If you haven't received your pledge rewards by the 31st of July OR we misplaced something in your order please contact me directly via backerkit support and I'll get back to you within 3-5 working days.

Hello backers! Just a quick update regarding progress. Now that orders are locked, cards will be charged within the next 24 hours.
Orders will soon be ready for shipping from the UK within the next four weeks (slightly ahead of schedule).
USA backers - at the moment orders from the UK are still under the 10% tariff. Please let me know if you prefer to wait instead of shipping within the next two-three weeks. This process is being sped up to avoid more tariffs from hitting (see poll at bottom of page).
EU backers - I will be shipping your orders from within the EU itself from my home country of Malta while I am there visiting family so there will be no issue with importation. Shipping for the EU will commence 1st week of June.
Rest of the world - shipping within four weeks.
Thank you again for backing Rat King Pins & Etchings! Its been a wild ride especially with the tariff situation this year, but Im keen to have pins and etchings out (and to receive many pins I have gotten from other pintopia artists too!)
Im currently writing this update from Iceland where I am based for the next 3-4 weeks, doing an artist residency thanks to a grant I received from Arts Council Malta. Im researching the extinct Great Auk bird and its last known nesting sites, and hoping to do a lot of work, drawing and development while Im here.
Pins and stickers have been delivered to my home address in the UK and I am pleased at how lovely they came out. The XL pins are absolute statement pieces! Im glad I took the risk to go big!

As we are slightly ahead of schedule I will lock orders within the next 48-72 hours so that cards can be charged and shipping can commence.
USA backers - with the ongoing tariff situation I will be open to amending orders/delaying shipping if needed accordingly for you guys specifically as the situation is constantly changing.

Surveys have been sent out - there are a few freebies which have been added to some pledges as a result of either unlocked stretch goals, cross collab backers, and/or pledging within the first 48 hours.

I've been keeping a close eye on current tariffs for USA backers. Currently UK-USA tariff is at 10% but the situation is constantly changing so I will keep orders unlocked for USA backers for a while longer than rest of the world backers. Current estimated date for orders locking is 15th May
