HOWDY, Y'ALL! And welcome to MAKE IT A COWBOY CHRISTMAS: WITH ENAMEL PINS!
This campaign is, indeed, for a set of enamel pins representing a few key elements of the American Wild West... with a little bit of a twist! I'm J. R. Frontera, outlaw storyteller and author, co-founder and co-owner of Wordwraith Books and Wordwraith Studios, and soon-to-be producer of film, wheeee.
But before most of that, back in 2019, I started a series of novels called The Legacy of Lucky Logan series. While I originally intended this series to be a historical western, it soon grew into something much more... interesting.
My main character ended up with a robot leg (with a mind of its own??) and a goofy mule (also with a mind of his own??) instead of a sleek, noble stallion...
But I ran with it, and I've found the unique quirks of this series to be a whole lot more fun to write! Luckily, many readers also find the series to be a lot of fun to read! (Whew!)
And the other thing about this series is... I love making all kinds of merch for it! Because of that, it just so happens I have a whole stash of these gorgeous enamel pins left over from some past campaigns, so I thought why not... MAKE IT A COWBOY CHRISTMAS!!!
and offer these babies up for grabs all by their lonesomes!
You don't have to have read or even know about the books in order to enjoy these beautiful enamel pins... but if you want to get to know these characters and their stories better, I've made the ebooks (and some book art!) available as add-ons, just in case! ;)

THE OUTLAW
Of course we have to lead with The Outlaw... a morally gray, grumpy gunslinger with an appropriately tragic backstory to boot!
He's the protagonist of our story, though he's not necessarily your average golden boy hero. All he really wants is a nice, quiet life... but first he's got to find his long-lost sister and defeat the deadly big bad of the Western Territories Nine-Fingered Nan - who's already cost him half his left leg! Whoops.
Can he manage to end her once and for all and keep the rest of his limbs intact? We'll find out!
If you want your very own gunslinger to carry around with you - or maybe stick on your office corkboard to remind you to get sh*t done! - this is your guy!
THE LADY
But let's not forget... The Lady!
Despite what our Outlaw believes, she actually doesn't need to be rescued. That won't stop him from trying, though. We'll see how that works out for him...
BUT! If you are a fantastically badass person yourself, or would like to feel like one, then this here pin is for you! It's absolutely gorgeous with jewelry grade enamel creating a VERY shiny golden outline with a deep black silhouette inside creating an impressive figure of a wild woman... hair whipping in the wind, poncho flowing around her shoulders...

THE STEED *very limited quantities!*
Eh, well... he may not be the mount the protagonist wants, but he's the mount the protagonist needs...
Probably.
Look, here's what happened. Once upon a time, I went for a trail ride in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I rode a goofy but adorable bay mule named Joe. Then, a few years later, I was writing a novel, and historically, many families on the frontier used mules to pull their wagons, not horses.
Wishing to be historically correct in my entirely fictional novel, I made the family I was currently writing have mules for their wagon. But then my Outlaw needed to steal er, borrow, one of those mules, you see.
I had planned for him to get a horse later. Some beautiful, sleek stallion, most likely. Because that's what heroes ride, right??
But then my Outlaw ended up stuck with the mule for long enough he needed a name. In honor of the goofy mule I'd ridden years before in Vegas, I dubbed the mule Joe.
And then... well... honestly, I had become attached to Joe. And my Outlaw had too. (Even though he'd never admit it.) So Joe stayed. :) Good for you, Joe!

THE MOTTO
This is actually the motto of a character in the series called Seven Knives Sally... so now you understand the knives part. ;)
Sally, or "the stabby lady" as she is sometimes called, is a big-time fan-favorite in the books, so it seemed only fair that I turn her own personal motto into a fancy schmancy enamel pin!
Needless to say, no one messes with Sally in the books, and no one will mess with you, either, so long as you're sportin' this beauty of a pin!
THE MYSTERY PIN BAG
What is this!?!?! It's a MYSTERY!!!!
For those who like to live more dangerously and/or take more chances in life... or for those who are bad at making decisions... I have just the thing for you!
It's a mystery pin blind bag!

You'll be sent an envelope containing one of the four pins offered in this campaign... but no one will know which pin it is! It will be a random selection... and seriously not even *I* know which pin it will be, because I packed these months ago, ha!

You can also buy various combinations of the 4 pins on offer for this campaign in the Pledge Levels, although since I have a limited number of each pin available, each set (and indeed, each individual pin) has limited quantities!
So if you see a pin or a certain combination set you really want, be sure to grab it up quick!

However, there are limited numbers of the art prints, so grab one early if you see something you like! If you can't find the add-on, that means we've run out! It wouldn't be truly a Cowboy Christmas without some sort of cowboy Christmas story now, would it??? I didn't think so!

This short story takes place 7 years before the start of the main book series and follows our Outlaw (Van Delano) as a sixteen-year-old freshly sprung from jail and narrowly saved from the hangman's noose by Holt Haggerty, an old friend of his late, infamous father's...
It chronicles Van's first Christmas as an outlaw, when his feelings about losing his sister and how he ended up out in the wilderness alongside Holt were still pretty raw.
But maybe not everything about being an outlaw is so bad, after all... If you want to go ahead and jump in to the whole story feet-first, then this add-on is for you!
