Now don't get me wrong, I love the illustrated cover designs, but I was also missing that realistic feel from my old covers. Something about seeing the characters come to life in that way just tickles my brain, and so I decided to shake things up a bit by bringing new depictions of these characters with these covers. 

I tapped my wonderful designer, Kiff (Solidarity Graphics) on the shoulder and she happily went to work! And baby, she has done an amazing job!

So on the outside you will have the realistic images done by my amazing designer Kiff and on the inside we will still have a nod to the covers as they originally were, so that you don't lose them. 

And no, it’s not just new covers. You know I have to give you more than that!

These books will also have additional content inside, so you're not just getting a new cover, but you're also getting a new short story for each couple. What’s Rayna and Metice up to? Did Domino ever learn to cook? What about Raymond, did he let Jericha get freaky with the vines? Well, now you get to find out! 

With the dual cover sets, you can choose which side to display them on. Maybe you want to showcase all the girls together, or maybe you want to ogle the guys. That choice is yours!

And neither one has a barcode on it, so you don't have to worry about your cover being messed up by any annoying images.

Now, do not panic; the original artwork will not go away. I will still carry the original artwork in paperback for direct purchase for signings and on my website, but moving forward, these will replace the hardcovers. 

This Kickstarter fundraiser is going to cover the initial print run for all the books, as well as the special add-ons that you'll get as part of the Kickstarter. Of course, there has to be something here that is special that you can't get later.

Shipping Timelines

All digital rewards are set to be delivered by October 5th. This includes the digital short stories AND the early e-copy of Lena Needs a Break.

All physical rewards are estimated to be shipped late October. Once the funds hit my account, I pay the printers! And then it’s a waiting game. The books are printed in and shipped from China so it does take a while to get to me and I will keep  backers updated along the way with provided photos from the printer.

If there are any delays at any point, those details will be communicated promptly.
