To begin with, I wanted to apologize for letting two months go by between updates. I usually hope to keep new updates posted every month or two, and I have let it slip a little longer than I usually do - which I hope will be a bit more understandable after this update. It definitely wasn't my intention to go too long between updates and I don't want anyone to feel worried or stressed about the project. So with this update, I hope to put everyone's mind at ease, share a bunch of final designs on pins, and explain what has kept me so busy over the last two months.
I also posted an update on my Flora & Feather campaign last week that covers a lot of this as well (but more specific to that campaign) so for those of you who backed both, some of this will be a repeat from that update.
To begin with - Puzzle Campaign Fulfillment: Shortly after this campaign wrapped up, all of the metal tins for my jigsaw puzzle campaign arrived. Which was great! But also meant I then spent the better part of a month fulfilling that Kickstarter and officially getting that campaign wrapped up and completed. It had been a long wait for everything to finish shipping and arrive for me to be able to fulfill that campaign and so getting that finished was a very high priority. Also, my entire studio was stacked to the ceiling in boxes with barely enough room to reach my computer lol - which also necessitated it getting taken care of as quickly as I could. Though it is a separate campaign, I thought I'd share a peek at the state of things while finishing fulfillment on that campaign 😅
But it is officially all finished now - making one less huge project and campaign for me to need to divide my time and work between.
Last year, when I decided to run both Flora & Feather campaigns at the same time, I believed it was an efficient use of my time to run them concurrently - that it would make the process more streamlined as I worked on them together. Looking back, I realize how wrong I was, and that not only was it double the work, it was more than double, as trying to manage my time between the two made both harder. I learned the hard way that running two concurrent campaigns was extra, extra difficult, and I definitely will not make that mistake again! But at least the puzzle campaign is successfully wrapped up!
As much of this update is more specific and personal, I am going to finish up in the backer-only section instead this time <3
