With that said, it's finally time to reveal the FINAL pin design -- the Backer Voted pin! Drumroll please... your winner is the Progress Pride Flag!
By an INCREDIBLY close margin once again, yeesh! Y'all almost had a SECOND tie!
As a cherry on top, though, I have the design ready for you all NOW! Here it is!
I do have one more exciting announcement -- I will be vending at a VIRTUAL con this weekend that all of you are welcome to attend for FREE! It takes place on Discord via the Spots application -- for more information, you can check out THIS TikTok. It's so cool and I'm excited to be part of a really cool emerging option for artists to get their stuff in front of folks!

Once again, thanks so much for voting in the poll! It ended up being a REAL nailbiter... so much so, we ended IN A TIE!
Because of that, I'm going to do ONE MORE poll to decided our FINAL winner! This poll is between the Progress and Queer pride flags! Both are excellent choices, so I'm excited to see what y'all's final verdict is! I will be announcing the winner on Wednesday!
Now, with that said, I also have a reveal for a few new designs from our wonderful sponsors! I showed off the Poly design in the last update, and let you all know the disability flag was on the way. We got two more sponsors over the weekend as well! So, we now have Poly, Disability, Genderfluid and Omnisexual flags avaliable!
We've still got til the 26th for this campaign, so I'm excited to see just how much we're able to grow the campaign over the following weeks! It really means the world to me to be able to get so much support on this!
On a more personal note, I thought I'd talk about my own journey wtih gender and sexuality, alongside my husband. Since you're supporting us, I thought it would be good to let you all know about our own experiences!
I grew up in a very conservative town, and it wasn't until I moved out I was able to come to terms with being Bi (despite there being rumors about it in high school, which I denied because "I have a boyfriend!" LOL). My gender journey also started during high school, and while I once felt closely aligned with genderfluid, nowadays Demigirl is what really hits home for me. Most of the time, you'll see me call myself a cis woman (as I am AFAB), but I've always had a hard time connecting with womanhood in the traditional sense. I don't use the label often, but it's nice to have a word to better explain myself.
My husband VERY recently found the label that makes the most sense for him gender wise, which is Agender! This wasn't at all a shock to me -- he's always been a bit of an enigma gender wise, lol. We have frequently joked that his gender is "whatever fits the current bit". I'm planning on snagging some pins from other campaigns for him to celebrate, and if I have the opportunity, I may add it here (and if not, it's on the shortlist for a sequel campaign!)

I hope your Wednesday has been going well so far. Thank you all again for the support so far on this project! We have well exceeded the initial goals, and I'm incredibly thrilled and honored you all like my designs!
There were almost 40 votes submitted to the Google Form from yesterday. To everyone who submitted a response, thanks so much! I learned about some flags I'd never heard of yesterday, which was really fun.
With the data from that form, I was able to narrow us down to 5 potential candidates for our Backer Voted pin! They are...
Demisexual, Aromantic, Intersex, Progress (Intersex Inclusive) and Queer!
The poll is NOW OPEN and is avaliable to all backers! It's attatched to this update for easy access as well.
Now, there were two other flags that got mentioned a LOT in the Google Form... And lucky for you all, two wonderful backers had already sponsored them before the form even opened! They are the Polyamorous and Disability pride flags!
One design has already been approved by the backer who sponsored it, so here's the Poly Pride Ball!
I'm awaiting approval to share the Disability Pride Ball. I look forward to sharing it with you all soon, especially after seeing it requested in the form and the comments!
With these two additions (and the TBD Backer Voted pin) we are at 12 total designs for this campaign, which is super exciting. One might even say... super effective... ahahahaha I'm so funny

I'll be vending at Tri Cities Con in Grand Island, Nebraska this weekend. The poll is set to close on Monday and I will announce the winner then! (or Tuesday, if the con wipes me out, which is very possible lol)
First of all, thank you all SO much for the outstanding amount of support you guys have shown on this campaign today. We were fully funded in just 30 MINUTES past launch -- a new record for me, yippee!
All of the designs I had planned are UNLOCKED! I even have gotten a couple backers who pledged to sponsor a design! I will reveal those designs soon (I need some time to get them ready)!
In the meantime, I wanted to get started on figuring out the Backer Voted design. Since there are so many gender/sexuality/romantic etc. flags, I wanted to do an initial survey before we do a poll here on Backerkit. SO,PLEASE VOTE IN THE SURVEY BELOW! The designs that are requested the most in the survey will be added to the Backerkit poll later this week (unsure when, I need to see how many of you respond to the survey haha).
