Just checking in, since, unfortunately, we are a little bit behind - and will continue to be for a bit.
After an assistant's car fiasco, job chaos, convention, recovery, getting-sick-from-said-convention, wrangling CRITTER CRIMES to meet a production deadline, and now jury duty next week (eugh), I apologize that we are 1-2 weeks behind fulfillment schedule.
Juggling stuff isn't an excuse, but it is what's happening, and I don't want to leave anyone in the dark. Due to being sick, I am not able to call locals for grading and packing help (yet), so I'm still alone in the trenches getting pins quality checked and packaged.
Here's some photos of the process. All 1.5" pins, 1" pins and GUNBIRDS are complete, so we're on to the main event: the 2" pins. All budgies and the first set of greencheeks got done yesterday. I'm aiming to clear up until the quaker parakeets tonight, at the very least.
After all pins are graded, wrapped and labelled, shipping notifications will go out. Is there any chance you may STILL have the wrong address on file? Go check!
Last night went to getting counts, finishing freebie assignments, and placing my pin order for CRITTER CRIMES. After a few more hours of grading tonight, I'll be working with my washi manufacturer and my sticker guys to get the second half of that order situated.
I am serving jury duty next week, and will likely not have any free time to start printing and packing. You can reasonably expect GOLDEN AGE PARROTS' first pledges to start shipping early May.
After all this is set, we'll be doing the long-needed shop inventory and KPH will have a sales downtime for up to two weeks. Do you want something from my shop? Speaking of Anthrocon, yes, I will be there this year, in the mid-Q section of bird people. I'll be tabling with Corviforms, but I'll be on more general gopher duty for Alstro Arts, Roundbirbart, and Corvi all weekend. I will have some stock of BIRD CRIMES, GOLDEN AGE PARROTS, and hopefully CRITTER CRIMES stuff with me. Come say hi, if you shower and don't have any felonies.
