Hey all! Pin grading/packing is still going well, just an incredibly time-consuming process that has to happen alongside my day job, and over 90 lbs of pins is no small quantity. Apologies for a late update here, the onslaught of summer has been kicking my ass, and we were dealing with a fun few weeks of both our old AC unit dying and tripping the breaker so many times, which required getting the landlord reset it. Things are a lot more stable now, though, and I expect to be making faster headway! As always, thank you for the patience and understanding!
Hi all! So sorry for the delay in getting this update out to you, a lot of my energy and time had to be devoted to locking down a day job and subsequently adjusting to the new schedule and learning the ropes.
But! They're here! Pins have made it to me after a slightly convoluted journey that ended with a misdelivery to one of my neighbors who was very kind and helped me out. They're all absolutely gorgeous, and I am blown away with the quality of product from my new manufacturer.
The task at hand is grading (over 90 lbs of pins is A Lot), which my wife is assisting with, then packaging and sending them out! Packages will likely be sent out in small, frequent batches I can drop off daily on the way to work to get everything handled as quickly as possible.
Thank you so much, again, for all your patience-- I can't wait to finally get these beautiful pins in your hands!
Just a short one this week-- pins are still en route with estimates to be delivered by the end of the week! A few of the parcels have had some delays due to USPS nonsense, but that should hopefully be sorted out tomorrow as well.
Hello! Apologies for the delay in getting an update out to everyone, my semester just ended and it consumed most of my time and energy the past week-- but this one is fairly uneventful, but good news! Pins have shipped, and are en route to me, and should be arriving soon!
It’s another biweekly update, though a relatively small one for now. Manufacturing is still moving along, and more update photos will be on the way as I get them-- for now, these pin designs are completed and look stellar!
As for the looming question, the tariffs, rest assured that I’m working on a solution that hopefully shouldn’t impact delivery times by too much. Otherwise, I’m caught up in throwing out job applications to both absorb the unavoidable costs and pay the bills since for the foreseeable future, running the business full time isn’t particularly viable given the state of the world.
