Project Update: Sleepy Hollow Update: Current State
A quick progress update on where things currently stand.
The Initiative Cards are finished and have been sent off for printing. At the moment, I'm waiting for the print proof to arrive. Once I have the proof in hand and can confirm everything looks good, those of you receiving Initiative Cards will be able to pick them up. In the meantime, I've included a preview below so you can see how they're turning out.
The final book, Writs & Ephemera, is also nearing completion. Most of the work is done and I simply need a good uninterrupted day to bring everything together and finish the remaining pieces.
The book has grown a bit beyond its original concept and now includes several new sections, including:
- Factions and organizations active around Sleepy Hollow, along with generic NPC statistics and information (it makes more sense when you see them).
- Details on various locations and businesses throughout the region, particularly those connected to the documents and handouts found in the book.
- Random tables for items found around town, on travelers, and in pockets, desks, saddlebags, and other everyday places.
- A collection of properties that characters can purchase, inherit, rent, or otherwise acquire during play.
- A large assortment of documents, notices, letters, advertisements, legal records, and other ephemera designed for direct use at the table.
My current goal is to have Writs & Ephemera wrapped up before the end of the month.
