The original Honey Bun plush was launched on Kickstarter in 2015 when I was just getting started with designing plush. This plush was the first of the Punny Buns series - bread inspired bunny pun designs. The original one sold out, but I've always loved this design. There have definitely been some things I've learned and modified with my style over the last 7 years. I have also significantly grown the audience for Kimchi Kawaii since then and so I know many missed out on the original version.
The new Honey Bun features:
Rounder body
Different style ears that stand up better and match with other Punny Buns plush
Shiny daisy flower detail at the ear
Stuffed stinger
Shiny, iridescent wings that are more sturdy
Faint blush on the cheeks
Backers will get to lock in their Honey Bun at the special Kickstarter price of $23 (plus shipping). After the project is over, regular retail will be $28.
SomeBunnies are character versions of the original Punny Bun designs. As someone said about the similar Purrista Pawfee series of my coffee cats, 'It's like they grew legs!'.
These pins will be 2" tall, feature two posts on the back with rubber clutches and hard enamel fill with screen printed details. Some will also feature glittery accents!
We'll start off with Honey Bun, Cinnamon Bun, Hamburger Bun and Peanut Bunny for this project.

Plush take about a month and a half to produce and another month and a half to ship via ocean freight. Estimated delivery time to you the backer is around late October/ early November as I'll need to receive the plush, package and mail out.
Shipping will be charged separately at the end of the campaign. Estimated costs for shipping are as follows. Keep in mind, shipping charges may change by the time plush are ready to ship. All taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the backer and may or may not be applied depending on what the receiving country decides.
