Hello Noop Troop! This is a short and sweet update to let you know that as of today I am about 60% through order fulfillment! If you haven't received a tracking notification, please don't be alarmed! It just means I have not got to your order yet. I am doing my best to work as quickly as possible with all the additional events happening along the way!

This is a casual update, as I've received some messages asking to get more of a look at my process.
Honestly, one of the aspects with being an indie designer/producer not often talked about is the privilege to be able to take a vision in my mind and haphazardly replicate it on my programs, on paper, and sometimes even being able to make an actual physical prototype with what few resources are available to me. I found some mini cd keychain blanks and managed to order a few to do tests with and I am so excited to share the first prototype.
As a note of transparency: These are just for demonstrative purposes, and the final 'product' will be much more clean, as I intend to have the CD part UV printed, and the paper itself will be higher quality. Additionally, I am still finalizing the art and positioning. But I was just too excited and wanted to share the look so far!
On the inside of the CD case is a scannable code that will take you to Vaders Playlist. This is in no way sponsored and just something I wanted to experiment with as I love music, love sharing music, and regularly listening to Synthwave (my favorite genre of music) has really helped me to keep my seasonal depression at bay. In theme with a lot of my other designs, there is a special message on the backside.
EXCITING UPDATE FOR RUE!

We are almost to the needed funding and backers to be able to allow backers to choose whether they want a Rue with YELLOW or ORANGE ear lining. By default, Rue plans to be produced with YELLOW ear lining. However, we've had some requests for the orange, and I want to do all I can to make it a possibility for you guys!
Assuming we have our final ending funding (the amount after all payments process and all dropped / cancelled pledges) over $18k, I should be able to negotiate this option with my representative, Steven.
Nooptendo3DS Charm Updates: I recently received the samples of the Nooptendo3DS phone charms, and I am so happy with how they turned out. Our Noop Troop community did so amazing on these designs, and we have had such tremendous support for this product. There is 1 design missing from the lineup that I plan to have available at the end of the campaign, so please do not be alarmed if you see a design missing from our campaign lineup!

I should have one more update closer to the end of the campaign to let backers know what they should anticipate for the next steps. That one is going to be important, so please don't miss it!
This is the second to final campaign update I plan to make and I wanted to let everyone know that the remaining Noops are en route to me now! I estimate they will arrive around July 4th-8th ish, and I will begin fulfilling rewards as soon as they land!
I have an upcoming convention on July 10th-12th which I will be out of town for and need to prepare for, so fulfillment may be a little staggered while I take care of that and other obligations I have with my second job.
Fulfillment is anticipated to take me about 2-3 weeks or so depending on my energy levels and overall health, which has not been doing so hot this season. So please don't panic if you see folks are starting to receive their Noops and yours hasn't arrived yet.. It just means the order hasn't made it into my queue yet! I am a 1-woman show who seldomly asks for help due to the complexity of my campaigns (which is entirely my own doing, because my brain is kind of stoopoo doopoo) but for certain things I should have the help of my partner, Austin to help get things moving smoothly! ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN LOCKED DOWN. If you see anything off with your shipping address PLEASE NOTIFY ME IMMEDIATELY. Once a package has left my hands, there's nothing I can do.

PRODUCTION UPDATE:
Steven has notified me that Vader & Birthday Nu have mostly finished production, and that he will be able to dispatch them to me this week. Rue, Amour, Sweetie, and Spoopy Nu are still in production however and are a little delayed. He is going to check again with their status in about 10 days and let me know the final quantities that have passed their QC.
I am preparing to start collecting for shipping fees! I have begun adding shipping fees to backer orders and anticipate on charging throughout the next week or so. If your payment method fails, you will need to remedy it and get your shipping fees paid at your earliest convenience. Any orders with unpaid shipping fees will not ship!
What's Next For You!:
This is the time for you to start updating your shipping addresses if need be! Backerkit will email backers to notify you that I am preparing to start shipping and it will prompt you to double check then.
If your order is 'locked' and you are unable to make edits to your address, please reach out to me via email and I will help you there!
Depending on various factors such as final shipping fees and tariffs, QC delays and repairs etc, our full fulfillment timeframe is leaning towards late June/start of July. The trade war situation has definitely not helped our production timeline, but Steven and I are doing all we can to get our Noops to us as safely and quickly as possible!
Schedule Note: I have TWO back2back shows in June and this may result in me being a little slower to get orders out then i'd like, but just know I am going to do all I can to get Noops out the door once they all arrive. As I expect Vader and Birthday Nu to arrive to me first, only orders with those Noops will be processing first which is about 36 of you!
Summary:
Vader & Birthday Nu are preparing to ship. Estimated arrival is June 15th or sooner.
Spoopy Nu, Rue, Amour, Sweetie are still finishing production and QC, and will be shipping to me in hopefully another 2 weeks or less.
Fulfillment will begin around June 15th with orders containing only Vader & Birthday Nu, or orders that are only for goodies and no plushies.
Shipping fees will begin to be processed throughout the coming days, and all backers should anticipate having shipping fees collected by June 7th.

BIRTHDAY NU FABRIC UPDATE:
In the previous update, I mentioned that Birthday Nu's colors were a little too pastel compared to her first run, and I am happy to announce that her fabric should be updated to a more bubble gum pink as shown here!

First order of business: Birthday Nu! She is so cute and so lovely, but her fur shade is lighter than the first production we did. This is to be expected sometimes as it's been roughly 2.5 years since we produced her.. But I also understand that isn't what was advertised, and I want to get your feedback before proceeding!
I've asked Steven to see if they have a shade closer to the first production, and I should hear back from him later tonight.. If they do, I will just ask that they revise the production to have that shade. I know she looks more like Pink Lemonade in this shade, but I do hope she's still just as precious to those who ordered!

and now to address the elephant in the room.. Sorta.
The future of Noopy & the current Tariff's situation.
Honestly, I am still not even sure how to address the current events as they are constantly changing (by pretty much every hour) and my primary stance has been to just standby and take it one day at a time. First, it should be known that as of this project update, our production is not affected. If this changes, I will work with Steven to find solutions. I want to assure backers that I am actively monitoring the current events and am working closely with my representatives to ensure the safe arrival of our campaign items. For the impending tariffs changes, I presently cannot give any sort of definitive confirmation on whether or not future productions will be affected. One of the 'perks' to producing in such limited runs is that our final shipment values are on the lower side, and any additional duties that may be billed should be relatively affordable, although inconvenient.
Once the time comes for the bulk of our production to arrive to me, I will have a better idea on how my orders are affected and will have an action plan in place. Right now however, I am just standing by and hoping the madness ends and a proper negotiation deal takes place.
Stay hopeful and keep your chin up, Noop Troop. Right now times are uncertain, but I do remain optimistic that there will always be a solution or workaround for small businesses like us. There will absolutely be changes and a ripple effect from the tides, but, we can get through this. Just continue to support your small businesses and be the beacon of hope and light for those who are struggling. Community is invaluable, and I am so grateful for the support despite these challenging times.
