We got so excited about this project that we finished everything waaay ahead of schedule--and now we are starting with our distribution. If you backed at a digital tier, you should have just received an email with links to your downloads. You can also find the links in your BackerKit dashboard under Your Digital Rewards.

Let us know if there are any problems.

It's almost time to ship Wytch Mountain!
Hey friends--
We're gearing up to ship out the physical and digital rewards for Wytch Mountain. You should have already received a notification that we are locking down addresses in 48 hours, meaning you have a couple of days to ensure that all your information is accurate. After that we can ship out the download links for the pdfs right away and get the physical zines out to you all in the next week or so after that.
Yay!

We are ready!!!! (almost)
You're not going to believe this, but I just picked up the zines at our local print shop and they are ready to go! I also uploaded all of the digital files to our BackerKit Pledge Manager. What that means is that we are ready to start shipping all this stuff out as soon as A) we get all the backer surveys in, B) we charge cards for shipping, and C) I get back from my upcoming vacation 🏝️
My plan is to start shipping everything (digital and physical rewards) the first week of July--so help me out and get those surveys completed, if you haven't already done so.

Surveys are Out!
Hey friends--
I dropped the files off at the printer a couple of days ago and we are already getting ready to ship out rewards. This one is going to move fast!
Backer surveys went out a few minutes ago with shipping and the chance to make any add-ons or changes to your pledge.
We will send out everything in early July, as long as we can get all the shipping information in time.
Thanks again!

We funded!
To everyone who backed Wytch Mountain —

Thank you.

When we set out on this project, we hoped it would find its people. It did, and then some! Your support means the world to us, and we're so grateful you've chosen to take this witchy journey with us.

We're heads-down making something we're  proud of, and we can't wait to share more with you soon. The writing is done, the editing is complete, the layout is finished, and the art is mostly done. Stay tuned for updates as things take shape, but we hope to have the PDF ready sooner rather than later. We'll also send out the stretch goal short story to all backers in the near future.

Thank you for believing in Wytch Mountain.

The Sabats

If you're talking witches, sooner or later you gotta talk Sabats. I had to make some concesssions and adaptations to incorporate them into Wytch Mountain, but overall I think it works. For the sake of this game, I only included 6 because we use a d6, not a d8 and I wanted it to be randomized. With 5 classes, each Sabbat gives advantage to one of the classes. (Imbolc serves as a neutral time where no witch has a special advantage.)

Before beginning play, you roll a 1d6 to see what the next Sabat is and a 1d20 to see how many days away it is.

1 Beltane When nature is rejuvenating and blooming, a witch's power is closely tied to growth, fertility, and transformation. When instructed to roll 1d6, Hedge Witches may choose their result.

2 Litha When the sun is at its zenith, a witch's power is at its peak. Their spells focus on harnessing solar energy, enhancing vitality, and working with fire-related magic. Warlock blades do an additional 1d6 points of damage for each level the Warlock is at.

3 Mabon As leaves change and nature prepares for the cold months, spells involve divination, ancestral magic, and working with the energies of change. The thinning veil makes it a good time for communing with spirits and seeking guidance from the beyond. Black Mass Witches cannot have their Tainted Grail destroyed.

4 Samhain
When the veil between worlds is at its thinnest, the dead walk close and old bargains come due. Witches draw power from endings, memory, and the hunger of things that should not still be moving. All witches may cross into the Otherworld (Leyline Witches  require no SP), but the Hexkeeper rolls on the Otherworld Encounter table twice and both results are present simultaneously.

5 Yule
On the longest night, a witch's magic turns toward endurance, hidden warmth, and the slow return of things thought lost. Curses cast during Yule cannot be broken until the following Beltane. Potion Witches regain all SP at midnight rather than after a full rest.

6 Imbolc During the cold months, a witch's power turns inward. Their magic focuses on protection, warding, and drawing upon the energies of the earth and the stillness of the season. Winter is also time for deep meditation, astral travel, and accessing hidden knowledge. No witch gets special powers on these long dark nights.
