Project Update: Thank you for the support!!
We have our results from the poll! It was flipping back and forth between the game show where everything goes wrong and ghost-hunting cats for a while, but in the end, the cats prevailed! That being said, given how much people liked the idea of the game show, I decided to use both ideas for games in the project! This rounds out all the one-pagers I'll be writing for this crowdfunding campaign, and I'll be sharing progress as I finish the rest of the games along the way.
At the moment, I'm working on the layout design for Read Receipts & Replay Highlights, a 2-player game of mutual pining between two athletes who are absolutely, catastrophically in love. I'm sorting out the mechanics addition that will allow the game to be for more than two players with my playtesters. :)
Lastly, I want to highlight a project over on Kickstarter that my friend DC Bradshaw has been working on for the last four years: Little but Fierce, a kid-friendly adaptation of D&D 5th Edition with streamlined rules, simplified language, and a family-friendly tone. There has been a lot of thought and care put into this project, and Dave's been working on it for as long as I've known him, so I know it is going to be an incredible project worth your backing!
Be on the lookout for the smoke test for the BackerKit surveys! They should be coming out in the next couple of weeks. :) As a reminder, if you also backed Beyond the Lighthouse, you can combine shipping with the two projects! Keep in mind that if you pick this option, you will likely receive the one-page bundle a little later, as we are still working on formatting the book and getting the last of the modules written and edited, but this way you'll only have to pay for shipping once! :)

Project Update: The dawn of the final day!
As of right now, there are still 11ish hours to go til the end of the campaign, which means we may still be able to hit that final stretch goal! Even if we don't, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who have shared and backed the project. The support for this blew past my expectations, and I'm so, SO excited to share these one-page games with you all! They've been so much fun to write and design, and I know that I will continue to write one-pagers (mixed in with my larger games) for a long time to come. :)
Also, if you want to have another project to look forward to backing in the future, I highly recommend following the teaser page for Midnight in Jubilation - A Solo Horror RPG by Blackwood Press. The creator is a dear friend of mine and an incredible horror writer/storyteller, so I know that this game is going to be phenomenal. I'm going to be hitting that "pledge" button as soon as the project launches, and you should too!
Thank you again, friends, and I'll see you on the finish line!

Project Update: Stretch goal #3 reached! And down to the last 3 days
Our last stretch goal is only €452 away, and if we hit it before the end of Zinetopia, I'll commission an artist to add a couple of original spot art pieces to one or two of the projects. I've already reached out to the artist that I'll be commissioning for this, and we've been bouncing ideas back and forth. Normally, with these one-pagers, I use Creative Commons and/or public-domain artwork, so I'm excited to hopefully pay this artist to contribute to this bundle!
If you haven't backed the project yet, please consider doing so to support your small indie creatives! If you are unable to do so at this time, you can also choose the "Supporter" pledge level and then add items to your cart when the Pledge Manager surveys go out.
You can also share the project on social media and support other folks who are a part of Zinetopia! Remember that if you back 5+ Zinetopia projects, you will receive a digital group zine of one-page projects from each of us. I contributed a game where you play a mischief of magpies collecting shiny objects and vying to be the Supreme Magpie!
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you who has supported and shared this project with others. This wouldn't be possible without you!

Project Update: The Cassandra Protocol stream and less than a week to go!
We only have six days to go until the end of Zinetopia! Shocking how quickly the time has passed. There are still two stretch goals that remain; can we hit them before the timer runs out? At €2.5K, I'll add 100 community copies to each of the core six games' itch.io pages when they go live, and at €3K, I'll commission an artist for some spot art pieces for the one-pagers that are as yet unfinished. :D
There are eight projects remaining in Zinetopia that have yet to be funded, and many of them are so close to their goals!
- How I Heard It - Campfire Storytelling Game by First Pancake Studios ($4,493 of $5,000)
- The Endtimes Trilogy by Adam Bell Games ($4,518 of $5,000)
- On Call by VJH Creations ($2,267 of $3,017)
- Three punk games by Côme Martin (€2,054 of €3,000)
- Dead Internet Theory, an adventure module for Cy-borg by David H. K. Jackson ($1,391 of $1,500)
- Your Diagnosis Comes With A Free Sword! by Connor Sansby (£640 of £5,000)
- Tales of Blood and Roses: Dangerous Games (issue no. 4) by Unpopular Publications ($1,042 of $1,100)
- Meet the Johnsons by iameurydice (C$520 of C$975)
I hope to see you in the chat for the cassandra protocol, and if not, I'll see y'all around! :D Let's smash through those stretch goals!

While many of the game themes have already been decided, part of the fun of this crowdfunding campaign is that YOU get to help decide the themes of some of the games! Take your pick from the options below and tell me what you'd like to see me write a game about. All of these are currently in vague concept form, but all will be multiplayer games!
