Yesterday, all the new duology ebooks went out. Today, all other novel titles went out.

If you get an error message suggesting your code is invalid, check that you copied it completely -- your download code should have 9 characters. These codes must be entered at GetMyBook.com; don't type it into your BookFunnel app, as that's a different code retrieval system.

All ebooks should now be delivered except the Bonus Ebook of Extra Extras, which is waiting for one more story to be added. You don't want to read that first, anyway; potential spoilers. :) I'll let you know when to look for that one.

In other news, I got a tracking update for one of the book shipments today, so that set is safely en route! Paperbacks should arrive to me at the end of July, hardbacks at the beginning of August. Special editions are still MIA, unclear if they're still at the printer's warehouse or somewhere on the road, but I'm hoping for an update soon, and I'll keep you posted.

Hello, friends. Unfortunately, I need to make a substitution.

I was informed this week by my contractor that the machine which produces the burnout bookmarks has gone facedown in a ditch. If there's one thing I've learned from the movies, it's not to try to use lasers which have been declared out of order, and due to a lengthy parts replacement, repairs will not be completed in a timely manner, and so I'm going to substitute for all the pledges which included a burnout bookmark.

(The art nouveau bookmarks are done and waiting to go out! No change there.)

If your pledge (Painter's Eye and above, $59 or more) included a burnout bookmark, watch for something else fun and useful tucked into your box instead. If you added a burnout bookmark separately, please reply to the email you'll receive asking whether you'd prefer a refund, credit for another item from this campaign or from my store, or a substitute. 

I'm sorry for the change, but I hope you'll enjoy the new items. I'll see if I can turn the burnout bookmark design into something fun for a digital download, maybe.

Big thanks to those who found the glitch that could allow double-charging for certain digital add-ons added during the campaign. /headdesk/ That shadowy error had slipped through my review, Backerkit review, and the smoke test, wow. But it should be fixed now!

To be clear: The base price of the add-on, if added during the campaign, is for the ebook. The other editions (paperback, hardback, audiobook) selected during the survey will show an upcharge from that base ebook. (I love my readers, but I cannot sell epic fantasy for less than it costs me to print.) But no one should be charged twice for the ebook! and now, that glitch should be fixed.

So please feel free to complete your surveys now!

And good news! We expect delivery of even special editions in time for local pickup at Gen Con! (Special editions will not be at Realm Makers Expo, for those who asked about that event -- it's a little too soon. Regular editions should be, per current predicted delivery dates.) Delays could still happen, of course, and I'll certainly update if they inform me our palette of books fell into the ocean, but it's probably safe to go ahead and select local pickup if you prefer.
