First Watch Card Game (New Edition)
$1617 purchasedFirst Watch has sold out two print runs, helping us to fund much of the Lightraiders artwork. Now we're offering an updated deck with the new Lightraiders boxed set. For those who already have first watch, a pack of the new verse cards is available as an add-on. First Watch makes a great addition to Lightraiders at the table. Lightraiders use verses matched to the core strengths (fruit of the Spirit). So, having a deck on hand that is suited by those core strengths greatly broadens the number of verses at the players' fingertips. First Watch is its own memory game plus a second cooperative game if you add your own starlots dice. Read more about First Watch at Lightraiders.comEdit -
First Watch Expansion Pack
$382 purchasedThe First Watch expansion pack includes five new verse cards that we've added since the last print run sold out. We've also made some changes to the card faces, but the card backs remain the same, so these will deal nicely into your old deck. (new verses not shown).Edit -
Lightraider Academy Dice Tower
$1624 purchasedThis laser-etched acrylic dice tower includes custom artwork by Lightraider Academy artist Ashton Corbett. The tower is 5 1/8 inches tall and easily accommodates a roll of five StarLots. The sound of acrylic on acrylic as StarLots tumble through this device is addicting. The tower easily assembles and disassembles for storage. A dice tower is the best way to “roll” precision dice. With their sharp edges, when rolled across a table, precision dice do not tumble. When dropped into a dice tower, they do, and were proven by Forbes to be more random than standard rounded dice. Another method for rolling precision dice is to shake them up in a hand or cup, but we think the dice tower with its wonderful clickety-clack is much more fun.Edit -
Wolf Soldier
$203 purchasedThe fate of the Dragon Lands is at play The knights of the Lightraider Order disappeared nearly two generations past. Now, the Keledan have withdrawn behind their barriers, and the Dragon Lands of bordering Tanelethar are overrun with dark oppression. The people are living in disobedience to the Rescuer who freed them long ago. A shepherd boy, Connor Enarian, and four young initiates rekindle the fires of the Lightraider Order in the hope of striking out across the mountains into Tanelethar to destroy a portal and stop an impending invasion. Once in the Dragon Lands, Connor learns that the key to success lies with a missing Lightraider spy and his lifelong companion, a talking silver wolf. Can Connor and his friends find the spy before the portal grows too large to destroy? Or will a local young woman—or Connor’s own family history—betray them? The dangers and secrets of Tanelethar test both trust and loyalty, and to save his homeland, Connor may have to sacrifice his innermost dreams. This item is a limited edition hardcover of Wolf Soldier, the first ever novel set in the Lightraiders realm, published by Enclave Escape, the premiere home of Christian fantasy and science fiction. This book is signed by author James R. Hannibal and includes two detailed interior maps by James R. Brown.Edit -
Bear Knight
$206 purchasedDarkness Looms in the Dragon Lands War is brewing. New threats have emerged in Keledev. The watchmen of Thousand Falls and the Windhold find goblin tunnels in the slopes of the mountain barrier that may hold many dangerous creatures. At the same time, scouting missions into the Dragon Lands confirm that the dragons are building an army of tortured Aladoth villagers to destroy the Liberated Land. To protect Kara Orso, the young woman Connor and Lee rescued, the headmaster sends them to the Second Hall to face the intrigues of the Assembly in her place. Far to the south, the two cadets learn of an old weapon designed to end the war between the dragons and the Liberated Land forever. To restore the honor of his family and renew the hope of his people, Connor believes he must find the weapon and use it to destroy the dragon leader. While Connor, Lee, and an assemblyman’s daughter scour the Dragon Lands for the weapon, Kara and Tiran are drawn north into the Forest of Horrors on a mission of their own—to find and save one tortured man. To succeed, both parties must face their fears and lean on the peace and strength of the Rescuer.Edit -
Lion Warrior
$204 purchasedLion Warrior is the third book in the Lightraider Academy Trilogy The forces of the Liberated Land are near to breaking. Without a heavy and rapid shift in the Assembly’s strategy, a dragon invasion will be unstoppable. Connor and Kara have kept the full knowledge of the Red Dagger’s location secret for almost a year. A chance to destroy Heleyor and end the war is within the Lightraider Order’s grasp. They must now reveal what they know and call for action. With time running out, Connor, Teegan, and Aaron attempt to recover the dagger, and Kara helps the Airguard train a new corps of soldiers—windfighters—in their own bid to change the war’s tide. Meanwhile, Lee and Zel search for Heleyor’s army of tortured Aladoth. This force, thousands strong, has vanished. They're heading for a hidden portal, and may emerge at the heart of Keledev at any moment. Every path that lies before the cadets seems a great risk. The slightest misstep may cost them their lives, their loved ones, and their homeland. But to do nothing means certain failure. To succeed, they must charge ahead into dark uncertainty and trust the Rescuer.Edit -
Extra Cadet Handbook
$10136 purchasedThe Cadet Handbook is a key piece of the Lightraiders system. It's filled with information about the Lightraiders Realm, written as if composed by instructors at the Academy. The handbook includes the "Adventure Journal" which has the verses, role-playing prompts, and recommended readings for every episode in the first two quests. Players should study the adventure journal ahead before arriving to play. We include two handbooks in every Lightraiders boxed set because we understand many families and groups will not need more and we don't want to unnecessarily raise the cost of the system. However, we also understand some larger groups will want a handbook for every player.Edit -
Starlots 7-Color Dice Set
$1241 purchasedStarlots are the tokens of a Lightraider, representing one who has walked the dangerous lands on the north side of the mountain barrier to rescue the lost. Each Lightraiders boxed set comes with three starlots d10 dice. Colors in the boxed sets may vary. This add-on dice set includes all seven colors and a handy soft carrying bag. 7 colors are included: Tanzanite (Purple) Saphire (Blue) Topaz (Yellow) Ruby (Red) Emerald (Green) Fire Sunstone (Orange) Diamond (Clear) Hold each StarLot up to the light, looking through from point to point, and you will see a star in the middle. Gamescience precision dice have precise edges and facets. They have been tested and found to have superior randomness by Forbes® Magazine.** They are not ink-dipped and tumbled like other dice so that they can retain their edges. As a result, each die also has a visible (rough) mold point on a minor facet from the casting process. This is the mark of a true Gamescience die. Dice may also show interior bubbles. Neither affects randomness when properly rolled. Precision dice are best “rolled” by shaking in a cup or dropping through a dice tower. *Sold with permission. Sale of Gamescience dice in Lightraiders games does not represent an endorsement of Lightraiders Products. **Lightraiders and Starlots have no association with Forbes Magazine.Edit -
