Let's talk a little bit about kits! There are a bunch of different options for you to choose:
Starter Crochet Kit has all the materials to make one Goomi, and you also get a bonus rare variant card of that character! There are 3 options available now: SIG the Starter Goomi (for complete beginners), Bigfoot Bobby, and Flint the Dragon (for advanced crocheters). These are available in the Big ol' Bundle or as an Ad-On.
Deluxe Crochet Kits have all the materials you need to make a series of Goomis! It’s meant for 6 or more characters, but each has the materials for a LOT of different Goomis and I'll let you know which alternative patterns your kit can hook up.
There’s 6 different Deluxe Kit themes:
🌲 Wooly Woods Kit - Forest Themed - Bigfoot Bobby, Grant the Rock, Goblings, Owls, Pinecones, Gnomes 🍪 Sweet Stitches Kit - Candy and Baked Goods - Jimmy the Donut, Zack the Donut Hole, Mayor McCrumble (and some unreleased Goomis 🤫) 🏖️ Stitchsoaked Shores Kit - Clippy the Hermit, Tako the Octopus, Chip the Seagull 🐳 Thread Sea Kit - Purl the Narwhal, Davey the Squid, Pip and Splotch the minis, Zap the Jellyfish, etc (there are a lot in this one tbh). 🦖 Forgotten Islands - Casey the Trex, Sara the Triceratops, Eddy the Stegosaurus, Larry the Volcano (unreleased 🤫) 👽 Space Crafts - Bix the Alien, Pavo the Peacock, Ray and Astra the Starlets.
Again, there are a lot more that each kit makes, this is just a snippet of the collection. At the end of the campaign you can choose which kit you want! They can ship early too, so you don’t have to wait for the game in June, you can get them shipped right away after the campaign ends. Also, some crochet patterns in the kits will be for amigurumi that aren’t yet Goomis too!

The Forgotten Islands 🎶 New regional song untangled!
There’s an old Goomian poem, or song, maybe a saying? I can’t exactly remember how it goes or what it says to do. I doubt any Goomi can anymore, but if you sail long enough in the direction of “huh?” you’ll eventually find yourself lost enough to wash up on the Forgotten Island. This volcanic isle is a haven for the bygone stitchasaurs who used to roam all over ancient Goomia, but now solely populate this palm-plied paradise... - Crochet Goomis pg. 168

What's Next?
In our next update expect a lot more yarn! We'll be launching a new community challenge, looking more into our kit options, and doing another live crochet along this Friday!
I'm also working on updating the Rules slightly to accomodate some subtle changes, and add in details about deck building and duplicates! It's a really cool addition to the game, and if you want to learn more now check out the stream today, but we'll talk more about it later.
