Because I was already running behind on the survey, I wasn't able to add many add-on items unrelated to this specific campaign. I did re-open the Bookshelves for Bibliophiles pre-order store if anyone had been hoping to order my literary pins with this campaign!
More Rose Mini Pin Options!
I was able to go ahead and order more rose mini pins in the additional colorways. You will be able to choose between the Bright, Pastel, and Trans colorways for your campaign rewards. All additional colors will be available as add-on items.
Timeline Update
I also wanted to provide an update on my expected timeline for fulfilling rewards. This campaign is currently delayed by about one month, so backers should start to receive their rewards around August.
Upcoming Projects
I also have two more campaigns in the works and both are part of collaborative group events!
Scenes from the Valley is a collection of customizable designs inspired by one of my favorite cozy video games. This campaign launches on June 10th as part of the Pin Quest collaborative event.
I'm also stepping outside my comfort zone with my upcoming project, The Haunts We House, which is inspired by my favorite queer horror book and movies. This project will be a part of the Pintober 2025 collaborative event in October. Content warning for this campaign: gore and non-sexual nudity.
When I fill out the survey, Backerkit wants to charge me US$999.99 for shipping. Is this a glitch that passed the smoke test, or should I just cancel my pledge?
Sorry for the silence after this campaign ended! The tariff and trade war situation between the US and China has put a lot of stress on my outstanding crowdfunding campaigns and I wanted to wait until I had a plan to update my backers.
Backer Surveys will go out next week. I'm sorry this has taken so long! I will still be adding post-campaign stretch goals for rose mini pins that weren't unlocked during the campaign. I will also be offering a few art prints, sticker packs, and enamel pins from my previous campaigns.
Fulfillment will take longer than planned. I will be working with my manufacturer to have items made and shipped whenever the tariffs are most "manageable." I'm hoping this will be able to happen by the end of summer. I may be able to ship orders for sticker-only backers closer to the original timeline.
Prices will stay the same for this campaign. I will not be adding tariff-related fees or raising prices on items for this campaign for existing backers. That being said, absorbing the potentially 145% tariffs for this campaign is going to hurt me and my little art business significantly. If you're able to, purchasing add-on items or contributing to the tip jar in the pledge manager would help to mitigate the damage.
I am trying to update my payment information from my failed pledge but backerkit says I'm locked out. How can I get this fixed. My bank freaked out that I had 24 backerkit projects process in the same day and I only just now got it sorted.
