Project Update: Stretch Goal Updates and Survey!

We're already most of the way through the stretch goals for this campaign, so I've updated them to add more!

Additional Stretch Goals

I decided that I wanted to make sure folks could get the critters they want, regardless of the semi-arbitrary flag colors I assigned to each one, so at $5,000 a rainbow colorway will unlock for ALL critter pins.

I've also created a survey to decide what critter/colorway combinations to add next. Backerkit polls aren't robust enough for the number of options this campaign needs, so I set this up as an anonymous Google Form. Whatever combinations we don't get to during the main campaign will be added as post-campaign stretch goals during the pledge manager and pre-order store (they'll come to life if a minimum order number is met). Please go crazy with your responses and tell me ALL the combinations you'd be interested in seeing - the more data the better!

Pledge Level and Add-on Updates

I've created a new sticker set that includes the six new rainbow flag colored critters. The new stickers will also be available for individual purchase, but I am not able to update the Sticker Set add-on items or pledge tiers to include them this late in the campaign (sorry). I've also created an add-on for the Love Bugs mini pin, in case anyone missed it during the Early-Bird period or wants an extra!

There's also a new pledge tier! The Critter Collector tier includes seven pins, which means you could get the rainbow garden spider and all the new rainbow critters if they unlock. If you've already pledged, changing tiers won't impact Early-Bird or Returning backer incentives.

Campaign Updates

We had a fantastic launch yesterday and have unlocked THREE stretch goals in the first 24 hours. So far we have four 2" critter designs funded, in two colorways each, along with the trio of freebie bug mini pins (pictured below). If you haven't backed the project yet, you still have time to get the Lovebugs freebie pin. The 48-hour "Early Bird" period ends tomorrow at 1PM EST!

Collab Partner Updates

My collaboration partner for this project, Floating Frogs, has unlocked ALL the designs in their "Pride"sopods campaign! That means there are now 15 different pride flag colorways to choose from for these sweet little bugs. Check them out here!

Sculpted Magnetic Isopod Updates

I wanted to share some more details on the sculpted isopod magnetic brooches my sibling, Pinyon's Art, is making. They mailed me a little friend to take more pictures and measurements for y'all! I've updated their section on my campaign page with some new details (included below). I was really surprised by how strong and lightweight they managed to make them. A reminder that these items are hand crafted, painted to order, and limited quantity. Make sure to add on a "deposit" to your pledge if you want to claim one!

thrilled to bits!!

i saw this project upcoming while browsing and it really just makes my heart swell to see as a fellow southerner!! i always try to advocate for the wonderful nature around here and the people living here fighting for change, so its just really really nice and such a relief to see somebody else doing the same thing and expressing it in such a nice manner!! im excited for the garden spider and cicada pins, but particularly excited for the little lightning bug :3 hello from memphis as well!!

size of Pinyon's magnetic isopods?

For the magnetic isopods that Pinyon is making: 1) What is the size? 2) What is the weight (since the description says wearable as a brooch)? I'm really interested in these lil' friends :D
