Sculpted by David Arberas (Instagram: @davarb, Artstation: davarb), these detailed statues will be produced exclusively for this campaign! David previously sculpted the figurine statuettes for FRONTIER Kickstarter campaign and SHIN ZERO Kickstarter campaign (see his IG for pix), as well as several other Magnetic Press projects, including the PLANET OF THE APES RPG. BIO: David Arberas was blown away by Zbrush and the endless possibilities of digital sculpture so he fulfilled a longtime dream when he was able to study VFX. He has worked on commercials, movies, video games, and in the tabletop games industry, passionately collaborating on projects like Zombicide, Game of Thrones, Marvel United, Carbon Grey RPG, and Deep Rock Galactic.

Chaiko is the pen name of Cai Feng, an internationally recognized artist, graphic novelist, and illustrator from China. He was born in 1981 and started drawing at a very young age before learning traditional painting at a fine arts college. He began his career as a concept and development artist in the digital entertainment field while also producing original illustrations for newspapers and magazines. His first graphic novel, Love Fragments, was published in 2008, earning a lot of attention in Europe. He followed that success with several other titles, primarily initially published in French: The Jade Door, Chronicles of the Immortals, and Murder on the Orient Express.
WU CHENG’EN - Author
Also known as Ruzhong, Wu Cheng’en was a Chinese novelist, poet, and politician during the Ming Dynasty in the 1500s. He is widely considered to be the original author of the Journey to the West novel, although it was originally published anonymously in 1592. While he was known for some creative writing and poetry, fantasy fiction such as Journey was at the time considered “vulgar” and not true literature, unlike the classical works of previous dynasties. It wasn’t until centuries later that textual analysis of works from that period was studied, along with reports from his hometown, suggesting that he might in fact be the original author. His use of local vernacular instead of classical Chinese, as well as the familiar “defiant spirit” of his other writings, has led most scholars to conclude that he is the most likely author of this legendary classic.
The target goal of this campaign is meant to cover the costs of the campaign exclusives being offered, such as the campaign-exclusive, limited-edition hardcover set and Slipcase edition, as well as any other bonus stretch goal incentives that are unlocked along the way.

Heavier packages may cost more than those estimates to ship, but we will do our best to offer the most reasonable rates available at the time of fulfillment. We understand shipping rates may seem high, particularly for international orders(and especially to Australia/New Zealand). With freight costs, fuel charges, and the price of packing materials continuing to skyrocket, we are doing everything we can to soften that blow for our fans abroad. While we strive to make the collectors' value of the exclusive limited-edition items worth the investment, we understand if the estimated shipping rate discourages you from pledging. The best method to ameliorate the cost of shipping abroad is to spread that amount proportionately over more items per order -- Add-ons can help to reduce the per-item cost. The content is complete, and the new collected edition is designed and ready to be delivered to the printer at the time of this writing.
