March Update: Wave One Shipping Complete (95% of orders) - Wave Two commencing!
Hi everyone,
Big milestone this month.
Wave One Shipping is Complete!
I hope you like my graphic design skills... it is my passion.
If you were in Wave One, your package should have arrived or be landing very soon. I know copies are still reaching places like Australia, so if you’re further afield you may still be waiting on final delivery.
If you expected to be in Wave One and haven’t received a shipping notification, please reach out. You can contact me through BackerKit Help (which automatically includes your backer info) or email me direct at [email protected].
A note for backers outside Canada and the US There were 10 orders that got held up by missing stock. The stock has been replaced and is with ZATU now, those orders should ship this week. Thanks for your patience to the few affected.
Wave Two Commencing ASAP
Wave Two ships this week. This wave is mostly a few later pre-orders and a handful of backers who had card errors. If you've received a payment email, please update your card so we can include you when Wave Two ships later this week or early next.
What's Next for MGG? The Hardlight Adventure Anthology!
My first hardcover, its an over 200-page adventure sandbox, filled with generators, tools, a complete sector of space that connects all MGG adventures past and present. I'm working with Panda on this one too so it’ll match the same production quality you’ve come to expect.
Plus, if you back in the next 24 hours, you're still eligible to get the free PDF "NCID Fleet Guide" pamphlet add-on featuring shipbreaker's-style vessels loaded with adventure hooks, danger, and loads of juicy salvage.
That’s it for March and, with shipping nearing completion, its more or less a wrap for this campaign. It's been an awesome journey and I thank you all once more for joining me on it. Without your support, none of this happens. With that in mind, if anything’s wrong with your order, please reach out via BackerKit or email me. I want to make sure everyone gets what they backed.
I hope you have a blast with Burning Gods and wish you all the best until the next adventure.
After an epic winter storm, U.S. orders began shipping from Flying Cloud earlier this week. If you’re in the USA, you should start seeing shipping notifications hit your inbox very soon.
ZATU has also confirmed that shipping begins for all UK, EU, and World backers (outside the USA and Canada) as of today.
What now?!
It’s been an epic journey since the campaign wrapped last December, and I can’t thank you enough for sticking with it. Here are a few quick notes before you all get to unwrapping your goods and hitting the tables:
Addresses are now fully locked and can no longer be changed.
If anything goes wrong with your package (missing, damaged, or incorrect items), please reach out to BackerKit support or contact me directly. I’ll connect you with the appropriate regional fulfillment partner to get things sorted as fast as possible. I trust the teams handling fulfillment, but with shipments of this size, occasional hiccups can happen. Don’t hesitate to speak up if something isn’t right.
I’ll be sending out DriveThruRPG codes this weekend. If you enjoy the adventure, a rating and comment really helps others discover it.
I also love seeing my games in action, so please share your loot pics and table setups when they arrive. It genuinely makes my day.
Lastly, if you’re one of the very few backers who still hasn’t completed their survey, please do so ASAP. I’ll be sending out another wave of shipments in a few weeks, and after that you may be waiting a while.
That’s it for this month. Thanks a bunch, as always. Your support all along the way has meant the world.
A quick January update with good news across the board: all pallets have arrived safely at their fulfillment centres in Canada, the USA, and the UK!
USA
Flying Cloud has received the pallets at their Maryland warehouse and is currently finalizing stock counts. Fulfillment is expected to begin very soon. I’ve attached a few photos so you can see the expertly packed pallets fresh from Panda. It’s very satisfying to see these in the wild at last.
There is a possibility of a short delay due to forecasted extreme weather in the area. If that storm materializes, shipping may slip by a few days, but Flying Cloud will get orders moving as soon as conditions allow. I’ll share another update once U.S. packages start heading out the door.
UK & Worldwide
ZATU Games has accepted the pallets for UK and worldwide fulfillment. Those shipments should also begin going out shortly. I’m hoping to have a more specific timing update for you next week.
Canada
Compose Dream Games has already begun shipping and some Canadian backers have already received their copies, which is fantastic to see. If any Canadian backers run into issues once their package arrives, you can contact[email protected], and Joshua will get things sorted.
Last-Minute Address Changes
Addresses for all backers are now locked, but if you need to make a last-minute change, there’s still a small window. You can contact BackerKit support, or reach out to me directly at [email protected], and I can unlock your address for you.
That’s it for this month. It’s incredibly exciting to see the first copies landing with backers. I can’t wait for the rest of you to get yours.
More updates soon with confirmed ship-out timelines and as always, thank you for your support and trust along the way.
A short one this month. I just wanted to check in, say hi, and share a few reminders to help make sure as many of you as possible receive your packages in the first wave of shipping.
Quick Notes:
Most books are still on the water and, as mentioned in last month’s update, are expected to arrive at their respective fulfilment centres in early January.
Almost everyone has completed their surveys, updated their addresses, and paid shipping. Yay! That means nearly 2,000 of you will be receiving your packages in wave one.
There are just 24 backers who still need to complete their surveys. If that’s you, please do so as soon as possible. If you've lost access to your survey you can get back in here: https://awaiting-the-burning-gods.backerkit.com/
A small number of backers also need to update their payment details, as their cards did not go through when shipping was charged. If you think this might apply to you, please update your card information in BackerKit to avoid missing the first wave.
That’s it for this month. January is shaping up to be an exciting one, so get ready for that. In the meantime, I wish you all the best over the holiday season, and I hope you’re able to rest, relax, recharge, and maybe sneak in a game or two.
Quick but important update this month: Awaiting the Burning Gods is officially on the water! As of today, Panda has confirmed vessel details and transit estimates for all three regions. Here’s the latest.
Not my map but I like it's scrappy DIY character.
Arrival Windows
USA (via New York → Baltimore) • Arrives New York: 01 Jan 2026 • Arrives Baltimore: 17 Jan 2026 • To Flying Cloud (est.): 24 Jan 2026
Canada (via Vancouver → Montreal) • Arrives Vancouver: 16 Dec • Arrives Montreal: 28 Dec • To Compose Dream Games (est.): 04 Jan 2026
UK & Worldwide (via Felixstowe) • Arrives Felixstowe: 04 Jan 2026 • To ZATU (est.): 11 Jan 2026
With this in mind, most of you should expect fulfillment to begin late January.
Shipping & BackerKit
Now that the books are on their way I’ll be locking orders and addresses and charging shipping in the next few days. So, if you need to update your address in Backerkit now is the time to do it. Shipping payment information has been approved by BackerKit, and costs match, or are very close to, the original estimates from the campaign page, so there should be no surprises on that end.
For those of you interested in OSR gaming, I wanted to share a quick heads-up that I’m currently running a Backerkit Holiday Market shop for my friend and long time collaborator, Golden Achiever.
The International Players Review is his DIY OSR zine full of Golden's unique style, humour and personality. If you’re a fan of quirky tables, adventure seeds, and bestiaries, 1970s RPG nostalgia, or have enjoyed his layout and design work in my past projects, you should check this one out.
Almost There
We’re getting very close to the finish line. Thank you again for your patience and enthusiasm. Once the containers hit land, things should start moving quickly.
That’s all for this month. Questions or comments? Please drop them below.
Manufacture Complete! Awaiting the Burning Gods: October Update
Hi everyone,
Lots to share this month! The manufacturing of Awaiting the Burning Gods is officially wrapping up. The factory completion date isNovember 10th, which means the games will be packed and ready to ship that same day.
Once the games leave Panda’s facility, they’ll head out via sea freight to the fulfillment centres:
USA: Flying Cloud Fulfillment
Canada: Compose Dream Games
UK and Worldwide: ZATU Games
Ocean freight usually takes about six weeks, so if all goes smoothly, the boxes should start arriving at the fulfillment centres right around the holidays.
Manufacturing Progress
The Manufacturer’s Production Copy (MPC) has arrived and looks fantastic. I’m really proud of how everything has come together.
New Dice: We’ve got Awaiting the Burning Gods custom dice now—photo below!
Deeper Box: The box has been expanded by 5mm to comfortably hold all the extra content included in this edition.
Final Edits: My copy editor/wife, Carol went through the zine with fresh eyes and found the last few typos and formatting inconsistencies. All dice notation is now consistent (1d10 across the board), and we’ve converted all measurements to metric, because, well, we’re in Canada, and metric just makes more sense in space ;-). Digital versions of the final files have also been uploaded to your BackerKit accounts as of the beginning of this month.

Audio Files
The full set of Burning Gods audio tracks went live earlier this month. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend it. There's a unique track for each of the ten rumours in the rumour table as well as all the called out radio transmissions in the book. There are also some audio logs from the first expedition that can be found on discarded data pads around the ruins.
The tracks were all sound engineered by Eric Hill (Golden Achiever), who worked his usual magic. I handled the writing and direction, and a few friends helped bring the voices to life. These were a lot of fun to record, and I hope they help to add atmosphere and immersion to your games.
Shipping and BackerKit
I’ll be locking orders and charging shipping in the coming weeks, once the games are confirmed to be on the water. From what I’ve seen so far, shipping costs should match the original estimates from the campaign page. If anything changes, I’ll update you right away.
Looking Ahead
We’re very close to the one-year mark from the campaign’s launch during last year’s Mothership Month, and I’m thrilled to be this close to getting the games into your hands. If all goes well with ocean freight, you can expect your copies around Christmas or early in the new year. Of course, that depends a bit on global shipping conditions during the busy holiday season.
This project has been a labour of love from start to finish. My goal has always been simple: to make things I’d be excited to receive myself. I think Awaiting the Burning Gods hits that mark. The art by Daniel Vega, layout by Dai Shugars, and the craftsmanship from Panda Games Manufacturing all came together beautifully. Editors Roz Leahy and Jarrett Crader also did excellent work polishing the text into its final form.
I’m deeply proud of how this project turned out and grateful for your patience, support, and excitement along the way.
That’s all for this month. Comments or questions? Drop them below. Until next time, have an awesome October and I’ll talk to you soon.

Received my collectors edition box yesterday and can definitely say this is one of the most gorgeous Mothership Modules I own. The layout is clean, the art is fantastic and the module has so much potential. Can't wait for this one to hit the table and wanted to let you know that ya'll knocked it out of the park.
