Project Update: Limited Edition Items
Greetings everyone,
First of all a big announcement, based on current order numbers we have place an order with our printers for all the items of the campaign:
First of all a big announcement, based on current order numbers we have place an order with our printers for all the items of the campaign:
- All physical Calendars
- All physical Posters
- All physical XXXmas Cards
This means that we now have order limits on all items, as such every pledge level now has a limited amount available. So we would recommend you take a look at your level and make sure you are happy because once reward tiers have run out, they wont be available anymore.
Similarly add-ons are also limited, when a set limit is reached the add-on will dissapear and not be available for further orders. So again we recommend you take a final look at all items you have chosen to make sure you are 100% happy as we wind into the final and often busiest period for a Crowdfunding campaign.
Shipping Estimates
Last but not least is information on Shipping, whilst we don't know the exact fees people will have to pay, we will be aiming to ship most items in 'large letter' boxes, which is to say boxes that fit through a letterbox. This will keep the price of shipping as low as possible, with the expected cost for international order being between £8-15. But final prices will be determined once the items and packaging have arrived and we can test some options.
We expect to be ready to begin charging for shipments by the 27th December. Whilst we would like to be ready sooner, Backerkit generally advise it can take up two weeks for all payments from backers to process. That being said because we have placed our order now, we will receive the items next week and so may be able to begin processing some peoples rewards and shipments sooner.
We of course will provide more details after the campaigns conclusion as we receive the items and begin the process of preparing and launching the post campaign survey. In the meantime please double or triple check your reward tier to ensure you are happy as you will not be able to change it after the campaign ends.
