1. Final PDFs - The final pdfs of Blightfall and the Designer Commentary went out this weekend. You should have received an email about it! If not, check the Digital Rewards in the Your Pledges & Surveys section when you click on your profile pic in the upper right.
I'll work on getting them on itch and some other places soon for others who may want to purchase. Or you can just share it with them. Pirates are cool.
2. A few people got add-ons in the pledge manager but had issues with payments processing. This apparently will stop you from getting the final pdfs, not just the add-ons. If you are one of those people, let me know and I'll make sure to get you access to the final docs. Weird move, BackerKit.
3. VTT - Smallest of Notes - If you're using the VTT, make sure you hit ENTER after putting in damage, otherwise, the VTT will try to use the last number in the box. If it's your first time taking damage, it will seem like the button is broken because it's trying to subtract 0 from your HP.
4. The Palace Class - This applies to everyone, not just cross-collab backers! I'm halfway through playtesting this bonus class and will then release it. To save myself the trouble of having to maintain multiple VTT sheets, I'm just going to add The Palace to the master sheet. That means that everyone will get access to The Palace on the VTT. Enjoy!
5. Shipping Update - Last update I said I was going to lock shipping addresses and then charge for shipping and taxes. That didn't happen! In an effort to make UK/EU shipping even better, we're trying something. Until I get a final answer on that, I won't charge shipping as I don't want you to pay incorrect prices. I'll keep you posted, but the goal is to get these books to you as soon as I can.
The books are still on a boat in the ocean. Turns out the ocean is big. Dang.

I'm happy to say that printing is done and the books are heading my way. I've been told they should get to me around mid-late June. See below in the Backer-only content for the video the printer sent me. The UV Gloss and the painted edges look fantastic. I was not expecting the painted edges to be metallic, but I honestly like it even more than a matte finish!
Locking Orders: Due to the progress made, I'm going to lock orders at the end of the month. No further add-ons can be selected after they are locked. You'll get a 48 hour notice email from BackerKit beforehand.
Final Surveys: Soon after, a final survey will go out to confirm your mailing address and charge for add-ons, shipping costs, and any applicable taxes. Please complete those quickly as I want to get these books out the door to you!
PDFs: Also, when you complete the final survey you should gain access to the final pdfs (hyperlinked and bookmarked) and the Designer Commentary. The Palace cross-collab class will be uploaded at a later date.

1. Surveys were sent out a bit ago and 96% of you have filled them out! The remaining 4% keep me up at night, weeping softly while my wife hits me with a pillow intermittently in a bid to silence my wracking sobs. It doesn't work.
If you have yet to fill out your survey, please check your email, spam folder, or log in to BackerKit and click on your profile in the top right, and then Your Pledges & Surveys. Once you do, you will have access to the beta files.
2. My poor printer has dealt with weeks of edits/modifications in response to the arrival of physical proofs of Blightfall and my incessant need for perfectionism, but finally I have given them the go-ahead to print.
The physical proof of Blightfall! The proof does not include embossing, spot UV, or the painted edges that will be present in the final print.
As the books near me, I will begin locking orders and you will need to pay for shipping. I will attempt to delay the payment for shipping as much as I reasonably can to give as accurate an estimate as possible. Already, the United States Postal Service has decided to increase costs for some types of shipping. Boo.

Smoke tests have been sent out and hopefully you just received a notification that you can download the betas of everything. Once enough smoke tests have been filled, I'll send out the survey to everyone.

- Beta Pages and Spreads: These are near-complete except for any changes I might make after seeing physical proofs, as well as some weird page numbering and a lack of bookmarks/hyperlinks. The page numbers and bookmarks/hyperlinks will be fixed in the final!
- Bonus Manifestations: Early Bird Backers should have these in their digital downloads as well.
- Designer Commentary: In-progress.

EDIT - I just received word from BackerKit that survey completion is required to access digital rewards. So technically only the people who got the smoke test surveys can access the beta pdfs. It's been nearly two weeks since the campaign ended and I've got some updates for you.
1. The few of you with failed payments have until tomorrow, 3/13/26, to correct them, per BackerKit rules!
2. Progress - Work on the book continues forward! I'm ironing out all the nitty-gritty details with the printer and will soon have proofs to make sure everything looks the way it should. Bringing the book from digital to physical has been quite a fulfilling process as a book sicko.
